We all enjoyed our time at Breckenridge Hubbard Lake. Enjoy the time in the cabin. The cabin was nice and comfortable. The bedrooms were very spacious and the kitchen was big. Living room was large and very comfortable looking forward to our next adventure to Hubbard Lake.We had a fantastic time while there.
The location is great the house was nice too! Would love to come back once the owners are done with the upgrades! Seems like it’s going to be a great vacation spot!
8 adults stayed in this 5 bedroom, 3 bath home on a lake peninsula. Great beds, lovely baths and kitchen. No neighbors, peaceful and quiet. Lots of water front for water fun & fishing! Dock is over to the side a bit. Big back porch shaded from afternoon sun. We’ll plan to go back again!

Comfortable
Great place that accommodates a big group. Very clean. Did have one center room that was warm and no circulation of AC air, missing ceiling fan? But it was such a minor issue that I’m sure will be corrected for our next stay here! We definitely will return and enjoy this property again! Privacy great fishing and great host! We loved it so much we stayed an extra day!!
Thanks Brook
If you are lake people, this is your spot!
The house was perfect for 2 adults and 6 college age kids. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and amenities to live comfortably for 4 days. There's a Walmart just a few minutes away, which came in handy while feeding a crowd for that long! The property includes a boat house, which was perfect to keep our boat in overnight, and a beach spot for when you can't keep everyone in the boat. The lake is perfect for watersports and fishing!
Brook is an amazing host. She stayed in contact the whole time and did everything she could to make our stay wonderful.
Thank you for sharing your lake house, Brook!
We will be back!
Our family of 11 had a great time this weekend at hubbard shores. Yes, the water levels are low but that is Texas at the current time. The house and property are beautiful. Communication with owners was easy and great. Easy access to property as well. Listing says it sleeps 12 but I would say 10 unless you have 3 people sleeping in the king size beds. You do have to walk through one bedroom to get to the back bedroom. The 3 bathrooms are great and plenty of storage. Also washer & dryer available! Kitchen was well stocked and had a great view of the lake. There is a propane grill on porch. We did not use it but host were nice enough to let us borrow the charcoal grill (our preference) from a neighboring cottage that was not in use. We did bring a additional folding table for inside to eat on and play games. We came for the lake. Easy swimming for all the grandkids right out the back door. Walk along the road or the lake (while water levels are lower) to the covered boat dock. A new concrete boat ramp is there now...but water levels are too low, but just a short drive to the public boat ramp. We brought a jet ski and park it overnight right on sight. Kids can even swim by the boat dock. Used a local fishing guide who came to our boat dock to pick us up. What service! Also fished off the banks on the property. Yard was a greatbplace for games. Nice morning or evening strolls under lots of shade trees. Just book it. It's a nice stay.
