About this property
Great Deck, Fun House with Views of Hood Canal
This summer, come check out the world-class oysters, forested mountains, and beautiful misty mornings & sunny afternoons of the Hood Canal while you enjoy a fun campfire in our side yard.
The perfect base camp for adventures on the Hood Canal & Olympic National Park. Outdoor activities abound- from hiking & kayaking to exploring mountain roads & diving. Feeling like a homebody? Enjoy curling up with a book & album next to the wood stove while you wait for the elk/eagles to make an appearance!
The space
Guests love cozy nights in our home snuggled up with a book from our great collection highlighting local guides, biographies, history and nature. Or, pile on the couch for family movie or game night.
Guest access
Our home is located a block off Highway 101 in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the Hood Canal. It is a rural area, so please come prepared with basics. Our driveway is a hill with parking for 3-4 cars. Access to our home through the backdoor involves two steps, or a flight of steps if you're coming up from the driveway to the porch.
Other things to note
Our maximum number of guests is 8 due to constraints of our restrooms (2), the size of our kitchen, max number of beds, parking availability and respect to our neighbors. There is no camping allowed in the yard. If you are outdoors between the quiet hours of 10PM-6AM please keep down your noise level for our neighbors (people & animals alike). Also, please note that we have a steep entry to our driveway that may not be suitable for longer RVs (22'+), trailers, etc. Inquire if you have any concerns, we don't want you to have an unpleasant surprise! Please be respectful to the home we live in, thank you!!
