Wonderful sanctuary, modern cottage on the edge of town so secluded in nature but minutes away from La Veta amenities. Very clean, comfortable and charming little house. Highly recommend… I’ll be back.:)

A surprisingly lovely stay by a rushing river.

We could hardly bear to leave this retreat for a mountain hike or a stroll in the charming town of La Veta. Some mornings we lingered just to enjoy the river and its cottonwood perimeter . The suite itself, so modern and so tastefully furnished, has everything we needed for five nights. And need I mention how absolutely quiet it is?

peaceful location

Very clean, modern, gorgeous space. The windows and views are amazing! We had such a nice time watching all the wildlife and sleeping listening to the trickle of the river (it was running a bit low when we were there). Tanya & Mark were super hospitable, they’ve taken great care to make the space welcoming & well-appointed.

Colorful and refreshing!

No one could ask for a better experience. The surroundings are as peaceful and beautiful as the lovely one-bedroom we enjoyed so much. Everything you need is provided. This was our second stay and we'll be back again. No doubt about that. Thank you Mark and Tanya!!
