Thank you tonthe hosts Dan and Natalie for such a warm welcome. Everything was great. Such a cute cabin in a beautiful place of Wolf Laurel.
Well described property-it is exactly as described. Easy to communicate with host, check in and out were easy too. I would recommend this property and the area. Lovely experience.
This propertily was completely inaccessible due to the entire driveway, and the surrounding roads, being covered in ice. We heeded the listings recommended transportation advise by driving our Jeep in case of patches, but there is no amount of AWD traction that can compete with solid sheets of ice. The hosts next suggestion was that we park in the street, but there was no realistic place for that for our 2 large vehicles without creating additional safety hazards for ourselves and other drivers. Despite the safety concerns, and our inability to access the property at all, the host has refused to provide a refund.
Had a wonderful time. Only 2 very small recommendations for improvement are that the fireplace room tv soundbar is too loud with no volume control from remotes and the sidewalk leading up to the house is very rough with tree branches that need trimmed.
Great property right in the mountains! Very clean and cute! It was a little drive to get to food/supplies and restaurants. Super nice people in the shared spaces (pool/pickleball/bball). Upstairs bedrooms were really hot when we were there in August.
Wonderful cozy cabin located in a great location with lots to explore and do! We enjoyed hiking the blue ridge parkway going to Mount Mitchell swimming pickle ball zip-lining and white water rafting, etc. However, the only reason this cabin gets a 4 and not 5 is that there’s no air conditioning on the second floor. The heat was unbearable even when we used the 3 floor fans and our 2 teenagers ended up sleeping downstairs. Would not rent this cabin again unless air conditioning was put upstairs.
