I grew up on this property, and in 1990 my wife and I began our Christmas tree farm here—a place we’ve loved and cared for ever since. The Coop is named in honor of my parents. My mom, Margie, adored her home, the outdoors, and her chickens, while my dad, Frank, had a passion for motorcycles and airplanes. We created this space as a tribute to them both, and we hope you feel the same warmth and charm that made this place so special to our family.

Why they chose this property

One of the highlights of staying at Margie’s Coop is our peaceful little fishin’ pond (under construction 8-7-26). Just steps from the front door, you’ll find a scene that brings back the simple joys of bare feet in the grass, tree swings, and relaxing on the porch.
As a unique bonus, our property also includes a small grass‑strip airfield. From time to time, you may see private planes or ultralights taking off or landing right outside the kitchen window — a fun surprise for many of our guests.

What makes this property unique

There are not many rental properties where you can fly in and wander through thousands of Christmas Trees! In fact, we may be the only one in the world!
