Janet welcomed our group of 8 women to her beautiful New London home for a wedding weekend, and it was honestly a highlight of our trip. What struck us right away is that this is clearly Janet's own home, thoughtfully lived-in and cared for, not a generic rental. She graciously stepped out for our stay and left every detail ready for us: comfy beds, clothes racks and drawer space in every room, steamers, ironing boards, beach passes, and coolers. It felt like staying somewhere someone actually loves and takes pride in, not a stripped-down vacation property. The well equipped kitchen is gorgeous (think Nancy Meyers cute!) and easily handled cooking for our whole group. Janet had even ordered an air fryer for our stay, which we used multiple times. The furnishings and decor were so comfortable and inviting, and the yard and gardens (flowers and vegetables!) were magical. We spent so much time outside, especially at the fire pit, just soaking it in. The location was perfect for all the activities we has planned and walkable to town. Janet was warm, easy to communicate with, and clearly poured a lot of love into this home. If you're looking for a place with character and heart rather than a cookie-cutter rental, this it. It has a personal, homey feel throughout which, for us, was part of the charm. We'd return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Janet!
