Owner was great with communication and was very friendly upon arrival and throughout the duration of the trip. Beautiful home with nice views and accommodations. Would most certainly stay again.
We had a wonderful stay here!. The unit is amazing, truly a nautical themed gem. It is close to town and very private. Adam , the owner, was very responsive and super helpful. When in the area again we would definitely stay here.
Wonderful, quaint spot close to beautiful downtown Beaufort and public boat ramp. Spent a lot of time kayaking, boating, & fishing! Wonderful, friendly hosts!
If your looking for a great, quite spot to enjoy a vacation, look no further. Prime fishing opportunities, very clean, recently updated, and amazing host. Highly Recommend!!!
Overall had a great experience - particularly enjoyed cooking local seafood in the beautiful and well stocked kitchen. Lots of really nice details in the finishing of the interior. Property is a duplex and the windows/balconies in the rental unit mainly face the driveway side, but there is still a very pretty peaceful view across the water/marsh. Will be really nice when the yard landscaping is complete!
Very clean. Just the right size for us. Good location to Beaufort. Owner was very responsive to our inquiries. Highly recommend this home if visiting Beaufort or Morehead.
We loved our stay! The house is decorated so well. We had everything we needed. Cozy and comfortable. Just ten minutes from downtown Beaufort. We will rent again.
The setting was perfect. Privacy, right on a backwater marsh, with full big water views. Home was well appointed and nicely decorated, beds very comfortable. Catch your own bait right out your door, then catch dinner. Very convenient to quaint downtown Beaufort. The Host was amazing with great communication and ideas/suggestions. Lose to many attractions. Complete get away.
Beautifully decorated home, and very clean. Responsive host. We vacation in the area often and this was the first time trying the north river side. We've decided we prefer the ICW but still highly recommended this property! I would rent again for a quick weeknd trip!
We had a great family vacation at your place. My son and I were thrilled with the fishing and shrimp abundance. We would have taken you up on the oysters if we hadn’t been given a couple bushels by a local friend who had gathered them for us. Thanks again
Beautiful water view, although not full water view as expected, proximity to Beaufort was good, quick response to question about fragrance in house and solution to lingering odor was excellent! Very comfortable beds, somewhat limited choice of kitchen utensils if we wanted to microwave( no microwave wave safe bowls or plates).
We were in town for our sons baseball tournament however it ended up getting rained out. Thankfully we weren’t trapped in a hotel! Adam and his wife were very accommodating and the kids loved the accessibility to the water to include the kayaks. This house turned what could have been a long miserable weekend because of no baseball into one of our best family weekend getaways!
This is a beautiful spot and the unit is amazing. We only rate this property lower because we were very disappointed in the amount of construction and limited access to the outdoors. The owner did set up an option for us to hook our boat too, however, with kids and dogs this wasn’t ideal with all the mud and debris. Construction workers also made parking access challenging at times and you felt like you couldn’t sit outside because one guy was always smoking and they stayed pretty late. We felt like we paid for a premium that fell short at this time. When the construction is completed this will be an amazing spot.

Marsh views
Cool house, on a beautiful property, with a lot of potential. Amazing marsh views (insect repellent advised). There were a few issues, however.
The house had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival, and one of the kitchen cabinet doors was just hanging on by a thread. But, Adam did promptly stop by and fix the cabinet door, as well as provide us with a vacuum cleaner, and refunded the cleaning fee.
There are zero smoke detectors in the house. The house needs to be brought up to code before the property is rented out again.
There was a renovation project in progress under the house during our stay. It was rather noisy at times, which is not desirable when you are on vacation. And having workers on the property made it feel less private than one would want.
But, we did get to use the kayaks, which was a big plus. It's such a beautiful area with spectacular views. Fixing the issues above would make this a 5-star place to stay.
