Refurbished BeachFront Penthouse - Music themed!

The location is DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH. Walk 60 - 70 Seconds before you have toes in the sand. We ARE about 4 to 5 minute walk from Janet's Supermarket on east side of town. Stroll 6 - 7 minutes to the start of beachside restaurants. In short, we are Comfortable & Convenient. NOTE: the map is NOT accurate.

The space
Newly Renovated: The unit has a Music themed decorum. You will be engaged by classic artists and songs that you can sing out loud yourself. You can also play classic albums or use your bluetooth on the retro record player in my spacious, well appointed unit.

Having wine, tea, coffee listening to your favorite songs. Or just the listening to motion of the ocean - You choose Your experience. Cook full-scale meals or not. You can even wash your clothes after hitting the beach.

The gated complex is secure and peaceful. We welcome you at Casa Cancion!

Great ocean view on quiet beach. Traffic noise didnt bother my sleep at all. You will probably need a car here. Good gated parking and staffed security.

30th Anniversary

We had the best time during our two-week stay! My husband and I absolutely loved celebrating our 30th anniversary here. We spent 14 nights enjoying the stunning view from our room - you can even see the beach while showering! It's the perfect spot for a morning stroll or an evening walk, with plenty of charming restaurants close by. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to offer great recommendations. Such a safe and welcoming place to visit.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo is as it looks in the pictures with the beautiful ocean views. The place is a short 5 minutes walk to Janet's grocery store.

Dad needing a break

Visited my son who is in the Peace Corps and living in Cabarete. I wanted a place quiet and close to the beach, while be close enough to activities and nightlife. This place was ideal.

Amazing Stay in Cabarete!

We really loved this condo. The space was even more spacious than we expected. Cristian was there to meet us at check in and showed us to the space. She walked us through all of the amenities and how to use the water heater, A/C, etc. The pool was lovely and the views of the ocean from the room -- unbeatable! We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

This is a beautiful property. Away from the noise of the city. We felt secure with the gates and the gate keeper.Cristian was the perfect host. I asked her to show me how to cook a Dominican authentic meal. She cooked the meal and was very patient with us. I watched and took pictures and then we all sat down in the beautiful dining room to the most delicious meal we had in Cabarete!

Playa Ventosa

Great condo right on the beach and away from the craziness of the Cabarete strip but easily walkable to the beach and grocery store. Can't beat the wind coming thru this place. Quiet, 3rd floor unit. Enjoyed every minute.

Read before booking…

We booked this VRBO because of the location linked in the listing. Both maps in the listing linked to a property in Ocean Dreams, however when we arrived at the pin sent to us via the property manager, the property was actually 1.8KM away, in an area called Playa Ventoso. Our friends had booked a condo in Ocean Dreams to be near to us, since that is what was listed on VRBO. When we called the owner he stated that he knew the location was wrong and said that addresses don’t exist in the DR… which is interesting because Google Maps works just fine :) He said he would include it in the listing from here on out but in case he doesn’t, now you know :) We called Vrbo about the incorrect location and they said it was in the acceptable range and wouldn’t do anything about it.The door code we were given was wrong so we had to have the guard call the property manager back to get a new code. That code only lasted a day, so they eventually gave us a key. The AC didn’t work well so we waited around for an hour to have someone come fix that. The sliders didn’t lock, either. The property is in a super windy part of Cabarete (hence the name Playa Ventoso - windy beach). The property itself and the condo is pretty. It is located on the 3rd floor. We felt safe and enjoyed our time but spent more time at our friend’s condo due to the multiple lock issues, wind, and location. There are no instructions about how to get more drinking water, where to take care of trash, etc.

Emily - again we are sorry that the location map does not allow us to peg exactly where the condo is. Which is why it is now in the description online. My understanding is co-host provided assistance as things arose as the AC was attended to immediatley (and we do have 2 other rooms with AC), and she stated giving keys out due to salt water impacting those locks. The one slider door on one side may not lock, but since we are 30 feet up on the 3rd floor poses a low risk as you mentioned you felt safe. Sorry that the VRBO map feature is not as accurate as it could be but again, for future guests the description gives you markers of what it is very close to. I hope that your travels home went well.

Why they chose this property

We liked this area over Punta Cana as it was more approachable. And we were able to be on the beach. We enjoy just sitting on the balcony at night hearing the waves crash and getting our steps in walking up and down the beach, as well as being close to beachside restaurants

The VIEW! If you like beachfront/oceanside - I'm your guy! LOL Also the Music theme throughout the unit
