We enjoyed our time in this little cottage. Great location in a nice neighborhood and a good price. Great communication with host, we were even allowed an early check in which was much appreciated. Would stay again.

The little cottage is adorable, conveniently located, and a few blocks from downtown. Inside is clean, cozy, intuitive. There is an assortment of towels, small and large appliances, information about local activities and restaurants. The host is kind, helpful and a great resource.

Great Walla Walla location, cottage

Great location to downtown Walla Walla, clean and comfortable. Winery tasting rooms, Main Street shops and restaurants, five minutes away. Enjoyed our stay.

Nice little house

I enjoyed staying in this nice little house near downtown Walla Walla. Most of the popular local attractions are in walking distance and the place was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive to my questions and requests.

Disappointed

The house is old and in need of dusting - blinds, fan, fan vent, air conditioners. Furniture is old and bed frame moves when bumped. No place to sit outside. Plastic chairs are dirty and yard is a mess. Neighborhood is sketchy. Fridge does not open unless door to laundry room door is open. Low end rental which is why the price is right.

Quaint and Convenient

This is a clean and basic little home. Nothing fancy, but had everything we needed. Listing accurately represents the property. Was a little bit further from downtown than we had thought, but necessarily close if you want to walk, especially in winter. Affordable and comfortable, we would stay here again.

Cottage Stay in Walla Walla

Adorable cottage and an area of Walla Walla that was so close to everything and felt safe.We loved our stay overall, but there were so many things about the cottage that was not as described or expected.The place certainly needs to be cleaned with more care. Our sheets were definitely not clean when we arrived and dirt particles were present at the foot of the bed between the sheets. The shower and living room all had cobwebs present, and surfaces were a bit dusty. We were excited to use the outside grill but it was empty of any propane, and the pictured amenity for a grill was not available as it was broken and covered up in the back of the yard.We appreciated the ability to use the washer and dryer, as well as a full sized fridge. Thank you to our host for answering our call for check in directions, although we would recommend sending those over through the app before hand if that is possible. Our host gave wonderful restaurant recommendations and we are so grateful. Thank you for an overall great stay.

House vs yard

The inside of the house was very cute and accommodated us well. It was very clean and we loved it. The yard on the other hand was absolutely horrible. Everything was overgrown and filthy. We had a puppy with us and would’ve loved to let her run in the backyard however it was not completely fenced.

Darling little cottage one block from Marcus Whitman hotel.

This is a perfect location for a night, a weekend or longer. Walk to all the food, shops, fun downtown Walla Walla. Jessica was amazing with information and the house is clearly cared for. Tip: bring your own coffee for the morning after wine tasting if you don't want to walk the few blocks to Starbucks :). Otherwise perfect.

Walla Walla tasting

This is a perfectly located quaint cottage just off the highway 12. It is very close to downtown tasting rooms. The cottage was very cozy and had a some nice amenities. It is a little noisy in the morning from road noise, but very quiet in the evenings. The bath towels are very small and super thin. It may time to upgrade the towels to some larger softer towels. The kitchen knives could also use an upgrade. The bed kind of sinks in the middle as well.Overall it suited our needs for our wine tasting trip.

Great little house

The house exceeded our expectations. Only things we would change is to have so thicker curtains to block the morning sunlight and switch the fridge door so it opens from the other side. Neither were issues just things to make it a tiny bit better. We would 100% stay here again.

I manage and run a property maintenance company that takes care of several vrbo properties and when i arrived at the house, i was shocked at the appearance of the yard. It wasn't mowed or weedeated and it looked like it hadn't been done for a long time. A family member of mine even drove by it a week prior to my stay and it wasn't even mowed then.Inside the house was cute. It did give a homey feel. But if I was thee property manager or owner, I would seriously have a talk to the housekeeper about how she cleans. There were cobwebs in corners and by cabinets. When i looked through the blinds, i couldn't believe the amount of cobwebs that were on the inside of the windows. In the description of the house, it stated that there is a sleeper sofa bed. Friday night I tried to pull out the bed when I realized that the frame is broken. Luckily, I found an air mattress in the closet so we used that.Also it stated in the binder located in the house that there is a working house phone. It was a cute antique phone but it didn't work. There was no dial tone. Just static. As i said, the inside it really cute but there are items that really need to be taken care of.

Convenient Location!

We loved being able to walk to the center of town - only 5 minutes to the nearest tasting rooms and restaurants. We didn't hit any of the pricey restaurants, but would highly recommend Public House 124 - excellent up-scale pub fare, for relatively good prices (Walla Walla restaurants run pricier than even Seattle we found). We didn't get in the car once from the time we arrived to the time we left. Brought our bikes and picked up a map from the bike shop in town, chose one of the routes that left from Whitman campus, out into the wheat fields, down into Oregon, back up and a detour to some of the south end wineries. It was a perfect day! It was nice to be able to bring our dog. The back yard is tiny, not much to look at, but mostly fenced in so that we could let the dog out and he didn't wander. The house was very clean and cozy. It had all of the amenities, though for only 2 days, we didn't really take advantage of the kitchen or bbq.

Convenient and priced right. Brought our son out to college. The pull out sofa had an inflatable mattress that leaked out all the air in 10 minutes. He was uncomfortable for the 3 night he stayed . The queen had only a mattress that provided no support, Had an iron but no ironing board . Did not have the fire pit as shown in description. Sofas well worn. Great kitchen supplies although microwave had splattered food all in it. Perfect working washer and dryer. Didn’t sit out in the fenced backyard. Dead brush and yard needs a clean up. Overall a clean place . Facilities work well . Needs insulating around doors and fresh paint inside.

Horrendous communication, moldy food on the counter, no toilet paper, you get the gist…

The host is essentially unreachable and we encountered issue after issue with this host and property. The day we arrived we couldn’t get ahold of her until after the check in time to find out how to get into the house (the code for the door, etc.) We sent multiple messages with no response and called but got not answer. She then called back and said something about not having been looking at her phone and did not seem to even know which property we were staying at. When we arrived and we finally able to get into the house, we found a moldy baguette on the counter that expired 3 weeks ago. We also found garbage in the yard, the fire pit destroyed and furniture laying around the yard. We also found just a tiny bit of a roll of toilet paper in the entire house. We asked about where we might find more (having searched every unlocked cabinet) but because she didn’t respond we had to go out and buy our own toilet paper. We really are pretty low-maintenance guests, but it genuinely felt like the host of this property was entirely unprepared for us to come stay. I would think really hard before booking this VRBO.

Cute, Clean, & the Right Price

I was looking for a place to stay in Walla Walla wine country on short notice that wouldn't break the bank; this was it. Very nice property inside with comfortable amenities and everything my wife and I needed for three nights. We made breakfasts of bagels and coffee every day and cooked one meal on the grill and in the kitchen. Despite an initial worry after sitting on bed that seemed way too soft, when you actually laying down it was very comfortable. The property is a minutes walk away from what looks to be a nice Steak House, and only a ten to fifteen minute walk to the downtown area. However, you may want to drive; some of the surrounding houses and properties in the neighborhood are quite rough and not kept up making me question how safe it would be to walk at night. That said, I never did feel unsafe, none-the-less it will make you wonder. My reservation was requested and accepted two days prior to our arrival. The night before I messaged the host requesting arrival procedures, and again shortly after we landed in Boise a four hour drive away. Nervous that I hadn't received a reply, at 4PM and about two hours from Walla Walla I called the host from the road. Jessica promptly answered, but seemed surprised that we were heading to her property. She had not seen either of my messages. Fortunately there was no issue. She immediate sent access directions through the app and by text along with dining recommendations. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again.

Either way, the wine, the food, and fantastic people make it one of my favorite places on this earth. I hope you fall in love with Walla Walla as we have during your stay here.

What makes this property unique

We really enjoy going out to dinner and it's so nice to be able to walk to every restaurant in town - in heels! The location of this home is why we bought it - you can't beat it. It's so easy to access the highway, and EVERYTHING is within walking distance.
