Lexington is home to this holiday home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Elgin Memorial Park and Mid Town Lee Smith Park, while Lee County Heritage Center and Dime Box Heritage Museum are cultural highlights. Sherwood Forest Faire and Scarlet Maze are also worth visiting.
House is very nice and clean. It is tucked back off the road and you feel like you are in secluded country home. We loved the back Casita that was set up as an entertainment room. The owner is super responsive and provides great information about things to do in the area. Will definitely book again in the future.
We did a quick get away for my husband’s birthday and were able to bring our dog along with us as well which is always nice. The backyard was fenced in and had a fire pit so we could all hang out and relax. We would stay here again hands down. Loves that Lauren was so way to communicate with and also responded quickly.
The House Description Did NOT Lie, It Was Truly Zen
Our stay at the Zen Country Retreat was perfect! The house was super clean, had every amenity you'd need for your stay (including great support for kids), and was super comfortable. As someone who lives in a city, I was truly shocked by how quiet and peaceful it was out there. No traffic noise, no rowdy neighbors, it was all very peaceful.
We also LOVED the s'mores ingredients; my kids had a blast making them, and it was a very nice, homey touch!
