Great space and location. Room is small but perfect for one or two people. Bummer you don’t get access to the Homestead amenities but for beach access - it can’t be beat.

Very cute room, there was a river right outside the door then steps past it the beautiful beach. Just minutes from the downtown area with restaurants. Stayed here to experience the beach and sand dunes, it was a perfect location and room! I would absolutely stay here again, we enjoyed the stay very much.

This is an adorable studio condo with everything we needed for a short getaway up north and on the big lake. The bed was comfortable and cozy for watching movies. The small kitchen and bar area have everything you need. Great location.

The room was an efficiency. Everything old. Not 1 update. Had to use my pocket knife for tub drain to work bc it was broke. Host didn’t reply until 1 1/2 days later. Bed was old. Entire place dated from 19560s when was built. Never ever again

Bill - I'm sorry you didn't have a nice time at The Homestead in Glen Arbor. All of the pictures on the VRBO website are accurate and correctly display the design and layout of our cute condo. It is listed as a Studio. Our condo is decorated to be "vintage". Everything in the condo is in great shape. The bed frame is an expensive Scandinavian design with a new mattress and new bedding. The paint, woodwork, and floor are all brand new and updated. The kitchen is original and we love it. We believe the vintage feel is amazing, Everything in the kitchen is in great working order. You chose to book our condo after reading the listing information and seeing all of the completely accurate photos. Then, you leave a disappointing review. Very confusing.

Glen Arbor Stay

Wonderful location right on Lake Michigan and convenient for visiting Sleeping Bear. We really enjoyed having our morning coffee on the beach, as well as spending evenings on the beach reading. Easy check in and check out process. Host is kind and helpful.

Lake Michigan stay

The host was very communicative and an accommodating from the start of my trip and even sent a wonderful packet of recommendations. The apartment is beautifully decorated and just steps from the lake. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and pleasant neighborhood

Enjoyed the comfy condo with access to Lake Michigan with a view of Manitou Islands. For two people that are on the go most of the stay exploring the peninsula is was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were well thought out for the space.

The Sleeping Bear Dunes area is a wonderful place to visit, especially during Autumn. This condo is centrally located for activities such as hiking, fishing, sightseeing and shopping. We really enjoyed having a stream just steps from the condo, and a footbridge to the beach and Lake Michigan. We would stay here again.

Would love to stay again!

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. It was cute, clean, and the beach access so close to the back door was amazing. The condo had everything we needed for our purposes (out hiking and biking and at the beach most of the time). The resort property and food was very nice and the location was close to town and the national lake shore, which is what we came for. I would love to stay here again!

My husband surprised me with a weekend here. It was lovely! Quiet, peaceful and we loved exploring the area. The condo was very cosy and we loved direct access to the back instead of a balcony. Took us a bit to discover the closet in the bathroom though ;) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Just Beautiful

The property is exactly as listed, it has everything you could need. It is a studio, but it worked perfectly since we spent most of our time on the water. The beach is awesome and easily accessible. We found the place to clean and comfortable!

Cozy and close to beach

This cozy condo is just a short walk to a footbridge to the beach, and a short drive into Glen Arbor. Safe neighborhood. Convenient laundry on same floor. Bed and pillows were harder than we were accustomed to.
