Virgin River Retreat is a log cabin retreat nestled along the banks of the Virgin River in rural Glendale, Utah. Enjoy 10+ acres of private wooded nature. Perhaps you’re looking for a family get away where you can enjoy endless nature trails daily and retire to a family friendly log cabin for a game of pool, multiple tv entertainment, Wii and more. Morning or night, sit and enjoy the glorious sounds of the river right out your back door on a large viewing deck suspended over the river bank. This private property allows for fishing the river if you care to throw a line. Be sure and and soak your feet in the cool fresh river or even cold plunge for an invigorating experience.

Virgin River Retreat has all the amenities of home and many more! Traeger barbeque, indoor wood burning fireplace, outdoor fire pit, Keurig and traditional brew coffee machine, pool table, picnic table, outdoor lounge chairs, roundabout drive with ample free parking, luxurious bath towels, laundry facilities and supplies, mudroom wash basin, cleaning supplies and more.

Southern Utah does have rattlesnakes but they are very rare and we have never personally seen one on this property but please be aware. ***Sorry, no smoking and no pets.

Great location

The location is perfect when you want to visit the National Parks and Monuments in the vicinity (Bryce, Zion, Cedar Breaks). For 4 adults the house was very comfortable and during half a day of heavy rain it was a cozy place to spend some fun hours talking, snacking and playing games.

Great location for Bryce and Zion

Perfect location for bidding both parks. Clean and cozy. Communication was great. Made for great weekend getaway. Would stay here again.

Family Vacay Stay

Our family of 5 stayed at the Virgin River Retreat for a week and loved it! The location was wonderful as it was right on the river and had undeveloped land behind it making it feel very secluded even though it was right on the road. It was within an hour or less drive to Zion NP, Bryce NP, the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Kanab’s Peekaboo slot canyon and Kanab. Orderville was a 10 minute drive and had a darling coffee/bakery shop that we frequented. Our kids enjoyed the pool table and the upstairs bedroom was plenty spacious for the three of them. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed having our coffee on the deck that overlooked the river. A few things would have made our stay more enjoyable but were not deal-breakers: Get more plates-there were not enough plates for our family to have more than one meal without needing to wash dishes. Also, the dishwasher didn’t actually clean the dishes, they came out looking just a dirty. Lastly, it would have been nice to have a table & lamp on both sides of the king bed in the main-level bedroom. We loved our stay!
