And if you need privacy from the rest of the group, we have 5 rooms on 3 separate floors to recover after a day’s worth of relaxation or any of number of outside activities. The house sets on a 5 acres of open field, trees, and a beautiful patio that overlooks it all with very private Jacuzzi. We set this house up to take care of our very own family and would love for you to experience this farmland oasis.
There are 5 bedrooms with the master bedroom off the kitchen and 3 smaller bedrooms upstairs for guests or kids. The downstairs bedroom also has lots of extra room as well. There is a full bath that has old style tube if you’d like to relax with a bubble bath.
The real charm of this listing though is it’s very private location on a 5 acre lot that extends even further given the surrounding farmland. If you are looking to ‘getaway,’ this is the place to be. If you wish to venture off the acreage, there is of course easy driving to mountain lake township and larger city Windom. There are some award winning restaurants within 20 minutes drive. There are nearby biking, hiking and walking trails. There is fishing at the nearby mountain lake. Of you like to golf, there is a nine hole course adjacent to the lake. The house and property were exactly as advertised. We had a great time and hope to come back next year. We definitely recommend this host and property to anyone looking for a great place in the area.
Overall fantastic place to stay, there were a couple cleanliness issues but nothing major. Would definitely stay here again and very easy to access the property with fast replies from owners. Recommend!!
Loved the absolute quiet and privacy we had at this property! The hot tub was great although the hot humid weather limited our use of that feature. We appreciated the farmhouse charm here!
It was a perfect getaway. Clean and cozy. Loved walking the property with the dogs. Host was very responsive when asking a question. We hope to be back next year!

We stayed here while in the area for work. Nice private location, lots of room for parking, and a cozy farmhouse with very confortable beds. Hot tub was a plus after long day at work!
Our family enjoyed staying at the farmhouse. It is a lovely, quiet place to relax. The property is very kid friendly and my kids really enjoyed the hot tub and playing board games at the house. Thank you for the nice stay!
We loved our time on the farm! Both Vicky and Justin were helpful and responsive when we needed anything. The farm was a fun place for all of us to explore and we appreciated all they had there for us - we will definitely be coming back!
Wonderful little farmhouse, perfect for our much needed mom’s getaway. Loved doing crafts and chatting around the large dining room table. Spent the mornings on the front porch drinking our coffee and enjoying the birds, and evenings out on the back patio playing games and chatting. Decor in the whole house is so cute and charming! Our group absolutely loved the place.

The house and overall property was great! Plenty of room for our group and everything we needed was available for us. The ability for us to have dogs with us was also something that we looked for and the home was great for that too. Will definitely book again!
We enjoyed our time over Thanksgiving. The house is nicely set up with lots of sleeping areas as well as adequate living/dining area. We enjoyed most of the country feel. Communications with the host were promptly answered. They even bought a crock pot for our use.
Wonderful farm house and private setting. Hunting dogs we had with loved the property as well with lots of room to run and play. Clean house with lots of room. Hot tub was a great touch and it felt like we were just coming to a home away from home while staying. Look forward to visiting again with dogs to this great farmhouse.
Everything was as it was advertised. It was nice having time away from a big city to relax. The house was a good size and everything was available that we needed. I would recommend if you want a place to relax and get away from it all.
This was a charming farmhouse perfect for our stay. We were out exploring SW Minnesota during the day but it was great to have a place to cook in the morning and in the evening. TV/firestick worked fine for our kids and the living room was spacious for them to run around. We all enjoyed the hot tub one night as well. We loved the remoteness and the view of the wind turbines.
