About this property

Cozy Little Cottage in Old Town

BESITOS HOUSE. We named it Besitos which means 'little kisses' because of the way this charming circa1930 house welcomes and comforts each guest. Located in the historic district of Georgetown and near Southwestern University. This little cottage is close to the downtown square where there are lots of shops and restaurants. The Palace theater is a community theater just off the square. Parks along the San Gabriel not far from downtown. One bedroom has a king bed, while the second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. The Morning Room has a love seat which pulls out to a full size bed. TV's located in both bedrooms as well as in the living room. Full kitchen ready to cook. Relax on the front porch swing or retreat out back for a glass of wine and a good cigar.

The house is super comfortable and well equipped. Great towels in the bathroom and the washer/dryer came in super handy. We were there for a week waiting to get into our new home and were very comfortable!

We loved our 4 night stay in this beautiful cottage in Georgetown. The house is clean, great A/C, parking and amenities. While we stayed during the height of the heat in July, Southwestern and Main street are all walkable (we only walked once and got drenched in sweat). The host is very responsive - we spotted a growing wasp nest on the front porch while on the swing and they addressed it same day. We hope to visit again soon!

Excellent value for the ! Super cute and well-kept home with all the amenities. Fast wifi, carport, grill, 3 TVs, USB ports - they thought of everything. Also - super quiet neighborhood, located close to 35 but not too close. Will definitely stay again when in the Austin area!

This is a perfect place to stay when visiting Georgetown. Very close to both the downtown square and Southwestern University. We have stayed in several over the last 4 years in the area. This is definitely one we would return to.

This cottage is within easy walking distance of downtown Georgetown. We enjoyed the front porch swing as well as the large backyard. The proximity to a park and playground were appreciated when grandchildren visited. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals. It’s a lovely place to stay!

The house was clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The parking situation was not ideal, my husband had accidentally backed into the grass about 12 inches and within 2 hours we had a message from the owner saying to not pull onto the grass. We felt like we were being watched after that. We were in no way “parked in the grass” and it was literally a roll backwards into the grass to try to navigate the small parking area. We own multiple rental properties and never communicate with the guest during their stay unless they reach out to us.
