Thanks for your nice review of our cabin - glad you enjoyed your stay, hope you return to enjoy each season. We are always striving to make it even better!
The property was very clean and we couldn't ask for a better property manager. There are 2 cabins, one is on a higher ground than the other but both are good stays.
Great place to stay. We mainly had events planned in Dalton but wanted to stay somewhere different. Sitting on the porch at night listening to the water flowing down the river was great. Cabin was well kept, and just like the pictures. We enjoyed the only sounds being from nature,
12/23-12/30/25. Host was welcoming. Good directions to the cabin (Bridge was out). Beautiful location in the woods! Very convenient location for site seeing, museums, hiking trails and history of area. Had toddlers with us (3, 5) and they clearly had fun. Was well stocked.Highly recommend this place for a cozy and convenient stay. We'll definitely be back!
I enjoyed my stay at Emerson’s cabin. It was located in a peaceful and secluded location with plenty of hiking trails and nature to see. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and relaxation and we only left once to get some apples to take home. If you are looking for a quiet stay with plenty of flora and fauna, you should check out this cabin.
Lovely little cabin in a relaxing waterfront area.

Another happy guest. Our aim is to make you feel like you are back in time, no noise but nature, creek laughing across the rocks, birds singing, kingfisher flying by as it hunts its next meal, long neck gray herrings tip toeing quietly as it searches the creak bottom. Maggie the property mascot will occasionally grace you with her presence and lead you on a hike to the swimming hole or the Adirondack chairs that view the sunset - - - -
Outstanding host! Very welcoming and provided all necessary information as well as additional local information on things to do in the area. Unit was very well equipped and exceptionally clean! Even little extra amenities like firewood and some coffee pods - greatly appreciatred!
This was our third time staying at Emerson’s Cabin. We enjoy the quaint cabin, the trails and the creek. Perfect place to unwind and to slow down from the fast pace of life. The place is clean with plenty of provided items (paper towels, toilet paper, cooking pans, books, games, extra blankets, etc) We highly recommend the cabin!

We actually live in the cabin up front across the creek from old grist mill that is on the property.
We had an amazing weekend getaway. The cabin was very clean, warm and inviting. Host has stocked the cabin with everything we possibly needed. Our kids spent the days playing in the creek and exploring the trails. Their favorite part was the cave with the company, and watchful eye, of Miss Maggie. Great place to disconnect and relax.

Glad to share Maggie - glad you found cave, it is a “nugget”! Thanks for great review. Come again.
Great location close to Pinhotti and wonderful stream!
The place was very nice and clean. Loved the location. We had a small issue with the hot water pressure, but I think that was temporary. Our visit was great, and we loved the dog the best!!
