This was a great place to stay! The host was very responsive, and we had the grounds to ourselves. The brewery/winery was closed, but the host still gave us a bottle which was delicious! We really enjoyed walking the grounds, and one of the barn cats gave us a tour. (The barn cats are very friendly, and we were actually sad to leave them.) We checked out Dutton’s for breakfast after the host recommended it, and it did not disappoint. The Cochecton Pump House was also a unique stop the night before for food and beer.
We had a great overnight on the way back from the thousand islands. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. And cats! Word of advice - if you are going off season - confirm the hours of the tasting room ahead of time!
We had a great stay and loved the property! We hiked all over and hung with the barn cats and enjoyed the beer. Hoping the next time we see a show at Bethel Woods we can bring friends and use the whole house.
We really enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk over to the Tastying Room for dinner and a beer. Trails for hiking are maintained on the property. Host was responsive to needs. Thanks.
We stayed here so we could attend the Willie Nelson concert at Bethel Woods. House was as nice as advertised and check in/check out was an absolute breeze. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
My husband & I stayed on the farm in late June. We love to hike & love craft beer so we really enjoyed our time here. We met the barn cats right away but then really didn’t see them for the rest of our stay. The brewery on the farm was very nice. We met Sarah & she’s super sweet & very knowledgeable. And the beer was great!!! A very nice time!!
Definitely recommend. The three orange barn cats were the most welcoming hosts we'd ever met! Property is impeccably clean. Walk to the brewery is short and also beautiful. Thank you for a nice stay!
We had a short stay but a great one. Great stay on a beautiful working farm. The host made us feel like a part of his project. The "barn cats" are very polite and offer an unusually friendly welcome. We went for a wedding, We would go back just to relax.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this beautiful location. Communication with the owner and property manager was so easy. We loved the location and precious animals around the property. The three barn cats were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. While hiking one of the trails on the property we were able to feed the horse and donkeys some apples. Our wintry hike also brought us to an adorable pond-side cabin complete with a woodstove to help us warm up. The owner also gave us great recommendations for dinner restaurants and we enjoyed some thrift shopping and a cute independent book store in the nearby town. We can’t wait to return in the summer or fall to take advantage of the Tasting Room for the hops farm.
What a cute property! Hubby is a beer enthusiast and was elated to stay on second districts hop farm! We hit up Barley creek brewing, here and now brewing, runaway train brewing, wallenpaupack brewing and hopping eagle brewing. The property is very private and has all the amenities of home. I particularly enjoyed the barn cats!
It was very clean and relaxing. We made friends with the three barn cats. They were so friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Thanks for having us John, Joanna, and Ron.
Very cute place to stay. Thanks for the beer. Got a tour of the grounds from Ron Alaskan bush pilot! Love that the tasting room was a hangar! We have a lovely stay and look forward to returning.
We stumbled on this listing while looking for a one-night stay that was a halfway point between VT and DC. But this is the kind of spot you want to stay a while! What a lovely, cozy space! It was beautifully decorated and had every amenity you'd need to snuggle in and hang out for a long weekend. The outdoor space was also phenomenal... if it hadn't been raining so hard we would've explored the farm more. And the donkeys were also super cute. We will make this a destination stay next time!
This place was absolutely perfect for our 2 day stay! The owner was super friendly and even allowed us to check in early. We toured the property, visited the tasting room, and even had a private tour of the wine cellar (it was so cool!). We attended the Catbird music festival in Bethel for the weekend and the location was excellent!
A farm, brewery, plenty of nature and peace and quiet. What more could you ask for? Turns out, there was more. A beautiful apartment. Cozy, comfortable and all to ourselves. We can't wait to come back.
Small but a great location for 2 to 3 travelers. My sister and I booked this location. When she was looking for a place to stay when picking up her daughter from camp. We were pleasantly surprised with amazing communication with the venue's owner's a clean, pleasant environment, beautiful facilities, and walking distance of a trendy fun brew house. Hghly recommended a
