This house has been used for large family gathering, fishing retreats, work trips, baby/bridal showers, church retreats and other large gatherings. This house is nestled on 50 acres surrounded by beautiful Pine and Oak trees and two large fishing ponds. Downtown Lufkin, TX is less than 10 minutes away. Lake Sam Rayburn, the largest lake located entirely in Texas, is an 8-mile drive on Hwy 103 E.
The space:
This 2-story brick home with a large front porch and back porch gives you plenty of space to enjoy the outdoor scenery. There is a spacious living room, a large study and a cozy sunroom. This home has several areas if you need your privacy, but also has plenty of room for entertaining large groups.
Guest access:
There is plenty to do while staying at the Farmhouse. Enjoy a dip in the pool or cook up your favorite meal using the BBQ pit. Maybe you prefer an outdoor game of corn hole or take a stroll along the 50-acre property. Do you like to fish? Then try your hand at fishing in one of the 2 large ponds stocked with bass, catfish, crappie or bream. Or just sit and relax on one of the two porches.
Other things to note:
Approval must be obtained if you are planning to have an event on the property. For guest safety and property protection, security cameras are located on exterior areas of the property.
