We were attending a nearby family gathering 5 minutes away so this was perfect location. For other activities, uber and metro buses were convenient. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were light and spacious. Downstairs needs a table or additional barstool to accommodate even having a quick bite so would work best for a short stay.
The facility was very good and well maintained. The concern was consistent sound of police, fire and rescue sirens all day. I have never had that experience before in DC. The host has a nice place.
My friend and I met up in DC for a much needed get away. She came from the Weat coast and I came from the East coast. The location was perfect to get around. We did not rent a car and getting an Uber was a breeze. I definitely recommend this place. I will book it again.
This property was as advertised! Clean with large bedrooms and two nice bathrooms. Pretty good location too!! I would come back to this property next visit.
Clean home with comfortable beds. Easy to get to all the sites in DC. About a 12-14 minute walk to subway, but we usually choose a 2 minute walk to the bus- very easy to use. Host responded quickly to all our questions. Some street noise, but normal for a stay in a city.
Overall nice visit in DC. This house was close to all of the things you want to see while there. Stocked well for guests. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. It could use some new area rugs and couch. The front bedroom was noisy at night due to the street right outside but not unbearable. The neighbors have a little rodent problem too, but you are in a city.
Took two 80 year old parents to DC for the first time. Great space, good location. Parking instructions were unclear, should have been forthcoming at booking about the situation. We paid 50 for a parking pass that we never received, and come to find out didn’t need per the neighbor

This is 100% incorrect the parking instructions were clear , you just choose not to read the information provided. And you did not pay the parking fee as indicated.

The property itself is great. Very clean, cute neighborhood. Plenty of space for 4-5 adults. However, the listing is inaccurate. Street parking is not available outside the townhouse during certain hours, so you have to move your car. The location is a mile from the nearest metro stops, not a 12-minute walk. Ronald Reagan Airport is a 20-minute or more car ride, not a 10-minute car ride. The host required multiple prompts to respond, and the check-out details were scant. Despite this excellent townhouse, I do NOT recommend staying here.

Great Place to Relax after a busy day in DC
We had a party of 4 (two couples) come into DC for a few days to sight see and visit with family. The house was very clean and well equip to make our stay great. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed the suggestion of our host to have groceries delivered. We used Uber to get downtown DC everyday. It averaged between $10 and $25 dollars to do so, depending on the traffic and time of day.
I will note the the front bedroom is very noisy (street traffic), so I would put heavy sleepers in that room or utilize earplugs or sound machine.
Home was clean and as advertised, especially the description of noise. This property is conveniently located near attractions, several health systems and most importantly on a busy street so noise should expected so we were prepared for that. We weren’t prepared for the temperature fluctuations which we figured out on our last night were bc the middle window in the living room wouldn’t seal fully so cold and additional noise would come in. Some amenities were dated such as the kitchen utensils and linens but still did the job intended. Living room could use new rugs as they are worn down. Communication with property manager was very smooth. Nefs were firm and low to the ground so be prepared for that if you aren’t a fan of that type of bed. Overall well worth the price for convenience.

Property manager not engaged
The place itself was fine, but the property manager was not responsive at any point in the process. The site or his message says parking is available and two days before our trip he sends a “canned” note saying you need to sign up for a pass to park on the street in the neighborhood. He never responded to calls, texts or messages through the site. The book left at the apartment is missing pages and didn’t even mention the best restaurant in the neighborhood. This was not my best VRBO rental though the place was nice. Loud on the street side bedroom though.
Great location and clean place. BUT, very few of the windows close correctly, so completely drafty in any room. Turn up the heater to stay warm for sure. The code to the front door does not work on the back door, so I got locked out when trying to find the trash can and our Uber was on his way. Never found the trash can. PANIC! Only 2 rolls of tissue paper in the house when we got there so we had to request another for the upstairs bathroom. The smoke alarm battery started chirping at 11:00 pm the first night and none of us could get a good nights sleep. No 9 volts in the house or we would have done it ourselves. Communication was only OK - text only. Slick, icy entrance staircase should have been salted the day we left. Sirens at night were a little loud - would've helped to have windows that actually close. Liked having a washer and dryer. Nice location was easy to Uber everywhere.

Average for the money
The pictures make the furnishings appear nicer than they are. The linings and utensils are very old. The property has a strange smell. Other than those items it suited us well.

Noisy
Condo itself was very clean. Easy location to use Uber or walk to neighborhood convenience stores. BUT this property is located almost on the corer of an extremely BUSY 4 lane road and intersects with another busy road. The traffic noise is terrible day and night. Wasn't easy to listen to TV or sleep in front bedroom. Disappointed that this wasn't mentioned in listing.

Cherry blossom time in DC
This home worked out perfectly for our trip to DC. The location worked well for us, as our son lives just around the corner. There are corner grocery stores, a great wine shop, local bars and a few small restaurants within walking distance. The closest metro stop is over a mile away, so we used Uber to get around town. Furnishings were comfortable. The house is on a busy street, and during the day, the street noise is very noticeable, but it quiets down at night.

Great place to stay and enjoy the city
Unit was a bit hard to find, as it is now painted canary yellow (pictures make it look cream), but once found, the unit was clean and well appointed. Location is good. We Ubered into the city and out with no issue. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

Great Overall Stay...minutes from Washington Mall and Museums
We came to Washington D.C. on a trip with our granddaughters and stayed in Sherman's property for five nights. It is a two story townhouse with plenty of room for four people. It is clean and well appointed and very comfortable. We took Uber everywhere, which is really the way to go in D.C., due to the lack of parking available and we were able to get a ride right outside our door.
If you are planning on staying at this property, make sure and explore the area of 1st street, which is about two blocks from the townhouse. There are several restaurants, a coffee shop and bakery in one spot and we did not find it until our last day in DC. There is a Thai/Japanese Restaurant, a Bistro and a Seafood/Steak restaurant within a block of each other. We also used UBER eats to deliver food and had a local grocery store deliver basic supplies for our stay.
I called Sherman and interacted with him by email and he was very responsive to any of our questions or needs. We would definitely stay there again...and plan to do just that!!

The property was nice
The problem came after the stay. We got a claim for 150 for towels after our stay. The only towels in the house were white towels similar to hotels but if You used it to wipe your hands after eating and it left a stain apparently you are charged. When you are on vacation the last thing you want to think about is wether or not you left a stain on a towel that can be bleached. No one called about it! We cleaned up thoroughly after and was still charged. I would not stay there again for that fact.
