Sweet Memories @ Pelican's Rest

Our free-standing cottages are located on the same property; each with a private entrance and driveway for your comfort and convenience. Just across the two-lane street is our 100+ foot private dock and beach area that can be used for fishing, enjoying your morning coffee with the sunrise, or docking your boat! (Water depth at end of dock is 3ft on average).

Our Sweet Memories Cottage offers a full kitchen, dining table, family room with TV, and bathroom. The sleeper sofa can accommodate two extra guests. It also has a large private bedroom with a queen bed and desk. The cottage has a patio area with table and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. It also has a view of the inter-coastal from the front steps. A set of beach chairs and towels are also included!

Downtown Jensen, with its many restaurants and shops, is only a 5 minute walk or bicycle ride and the Publix shopping plaza, as well as the laundromat, are just a 5 minute drive south. Beaches and boat ramps are less than a 10 minute drive away! A local favorite- Snook Nook Bait & Tackle Shop- is just across the street.

Jammin’ Jensen is a Thursday tradition downtown and offers live music along the main street! Travelers from everywhere love the Jensen Beach area for its fishing, beaches, shops, local artists and food venues.

The cottages’ convenient downtown location doesn’t come without its quirks- the occasional train that passes along the west side of the property may surprise you the first time you hear it, but you might agree…it becomes one of the properties unique and lasting charms.

Pelican’s Rest is located in Jensen Beach, also known as the “Pineapple Capitol of the World” and offers a beautiful view of the inter-coastal waterway.

Enjoy a boat ride or a trip to the sandbar with Captain Tyler on his 19’ Pathfinder. Jensen Beach, Stuart and Jupiter have some of the prettiest sandbars and crystal clear waters to enjoy on your vacation! Our available bookings start in September and we can make your reservation for any of the following months. Each boat ride can include a total of 4 in your party. Feel free to reach out to us with questions regarding details and pricing for our personalized boat rides coinciding with your trip dates. We want you to love the water as much as we do!

The cottage was so cute, clean and had everything that we needed. It was beaufuly furnished and the queen size bed was so comfortable. Everything was provided, a change from other places we've stayed, we could not have been more pleased. The owner was so very responsive and kind, answering messages promptly.

It was a nice little cottage tastefully decorated Nice little back porch with a table and then umbrella real close to the beach restaurants from the back porch you can see the river and the sunrise when the clouds are out if I needed to communicate with them they responded immediately

Perfect location to stay to be close to great beaches, with many options for good restaurants, handy to shopping for groceries or things you might have forgotten to pack and pet-friendly (although the yard is not fenced, just fyi). The host is very responsive and helpful. The unit was clean and stocked with basics to get settled. Will stay again if I have need to be in this location.

Quaint Perfect Cottage

My stay in this cottage was just want I was looking for. This Cottage was quaint, clean, nicely decorated and had everything available for my needs. Located across the street from the river made for a nice view. I would also love to add how wonderful my host Marnie was…always available for any questions I had. I really enjoyed my weekend at this location, I could not have asked for more! I am planning on revisiting this property and highly recommend it! 😊

A/C problems

The a/c window unit wasn’t well put. It came apart in the middle of the night, the house became very hot and uncomfortable. We were able to fix it so I didn’t mess with calling management in the middle of the night. Wouldn’t stay there again, esp in the hot summer time.

Cute cottage! Very clean and accommodates dogs. I was on a hiatus from the snow and below zero conditions from the north. I picked this cottage because it was right in the waterway with a view of the water from my bedroom window. Every morning I walked across the street and stood on the pier to watch the beautiful sunrises. The cottage had everything I needed to cook my meals and I did a lot of cooking! There was a little patio that was semi private I sat outside on warmer days eating breakfastMarnie checked in with me within a day of arrival and asked if I needed anything. At the time, Jensen Beach was in a cold snap with one night being historically cold. I asked for a blanket and she brought over the coziest comforter. I slept so cozy the remaining colder nights. There was a small space heater I used when I was awake and it warmed up the room. Marnie was always very friendly and responsive. I sent her a message through VRBO later at night thinking she would most likely respond in the morning. She responded within a couple of minutes! She really takes good care of her guests. . The people in the town of Jensen were very friendly. A short walk to a bakery that allows dogs in was very fun and the food was amazing! Downtown was very cute! It was fun walking into the shops.I would stay there again- hmm… maybe do this again next year!
