Great property & plenty of room for the family of eight adults & five children. The views were fantastic. We spent most of our time at the private beach and in the water. Large kitchen and dining area with plenty of room for the whole family. Had a wonderful vacation at the Blue Water Beach House.

I dealt with the rental company, I am assuming. Mostly via text. The house was satisfactory. Bunkbed mattress very uncomfortable in upstairs bedroom. No night stands in king bedroom. 1 washcloth that we could find. Lots of towels available. Kitchen very well appointed and very large. We didn’t use outdoor spaces much because of the cold weather but the deck is in poor condition. FYI. Sink in downstairs bathroom is draining slowly.
This was a wonderful trip away. It felt quite decadent to stay somewhere this big and beautiful, especially for the price. The hot tub is great, and the beach access is honestly unbeatable. Very clean, and great communication with the host. I was very pleased!
Thank you so much for opening up your wonderful, cozy home!

Thank you for your amazing review, Kimberly! We enjoyed hosting you and hope to have you back soon!
We stayed at this large house in the Lake for a family celebration of life. There were 11 of us ranging from approx ages 7 to 70. We loved that there was ample space, bedrooms and supplies to accommodate all couples and family groupings. The outdoor space was amazing - with a hot tub, large deck, fire pit, plenty of seating jn a variety of spaces around the property and a staircase leading to a private lake beach area. The Lake was so clean, views beautiful, and there were plenty of water toys and games for all ages. Bring some firewood because the pit was super fun to sit around to toast snores.
Thank you for an amazing long weekend full of fun, sun and happy times.

Beach Front Get Away
The view from this home is spectacular and although treacherous to get down to, the beach is very nice. Overall, the house is a bit run down and could use some TLC. The landscaping was not maintained, and the deck is peeling paint everywhere. When we arrived, the outside furniture was not out but quickly resolved with a phone call. We washed the furniture so we could use it and spent most of our time sitting outside on the patio (too cold to swim in early June). Most of the inside furniture was run down and needs to be replaced. For the price paid and the way the online pictures looked we had very high expectations of the property. Upon arrival, we were collectively a bit disappointed (14 of us). Despite that we had a great time and most of us, thought the beds were comfortable. NOTE: you will hear street noise when sleeping, as it sits right off the road (especially in the master bedroom). If you go knowing this is a rustic beach house (think charming summer cottage with minimum reno cost investment and 2nd hand furniture) and are mostly there for the spectacular view and beach, you will be satisfied. Also, I would like to note, that downtown Lexington (just minutes away) is the sweetest little coastal town & to check out the Farmers Market on Saturdays (Lexington). I hope this review will help you to level set expectations if you do select this property.
