Thank you very much for the kind comments and Lyne is a great stand in for us as we had to stay back in Montreal as I am awaiting surgery. We are so sorry about the state of the yard as the landscaping is currently our priority and is a work in progress and Lyne, try as she might, could not get the mower started. So pleased you enjoyed the facilities, the peacefulness and the view!

Peaceful Coastal Retreat

This is a great getaway property in a peaceful and scenic location. Nearby Riviere-du-Loop has all amenities you might require. We enjoyed touring along the coast, calling into Tourist Information centres where helpful staff gave us suggestions for visits. Particularly enjoyed the maritime myseum to the north of Rimouski. Or you can just enjoy the chaging views from the garden!

A great getaway

My husband and I stayed two nights and we were charmed by the property and surrounding town. The sunsets lived up to their renown with a view of the mountains across the river, and we found ourselves ideally located a few doors down from a large, saltwater municipal pool, a stroll away from great restaurants (and delicious ice cream!), and short drives away from some excellent tourist must-dos like Kamouraska and Bic National Park. We were warmly received and treated to a stocked fridge for breakfast—unexpected but very appreciated! If we find ourselves back this way, we would definitely stay again. Many thanks to our hosts for their hospitality!

Au delà de nos attentes....endroit absolument magnifique !! Nos hôtes ont été discret tout le long de notre séjour ...hyper accueillant...toujours à l'écoute de nos besoins ! Ils nous ont proposé de réserver des restaurants pour nous ! Pizzeria des Battures...excellent resautant dans un ancien presbytère sur le bord du fleuve et je me promets d'essayer les restaurants des magnifiques auberges a proximité a mon prochain séjour! ! Le décor est sublime...calme et très ressourçant ! Le petit appartement est d'une propreté impeccable...c'est absolument magnifique !! Ce ne sera probablement pas la dernière fois que je séjournerai à cet endroit !! Gros coup de coeur Merci a Shawn et Luc

Doux séjour

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Les hôtes étaient attentionnés dès notre arrivée. L’emplacement du logement est bien situé (près de la piscine municipale et de la pizzeria des battures). Le logement était propre et nous avons manqué de rien. Je vous conseille de séjourner à cet endroit paisible.

Le fleuve et ses couchers de soleil !

Lors de notre séjour, nous voulions profiter de la vue sur le fleuve. Nous avons été éblouis par les couchers de soleil qui sont magnifiques et spectaculaires ! VRBO Notre-Dame-du-Portage

Luc et Shawn sont des hôtes très attentifs aux besoins de leurs invités. Nous les avons croisé quotidiennement au cours de notre séjour et ils nous ont chaque fois demandé si tout allait bien. L’endroit est propre et les vues depuis la suite sont magnifiques. Je souhaite partager quelques détails sur notre séjour qui, j'espère, aideront les futurs invités à faire un choix éclairé. Ces éléments peuvent être perçus différemment selon les attentes et le style de vacances de chacun. La suite est privée comme elle dispose de sa propre entrée, mais fait partie de la maison des hôtes, qui étaient présents tout au long de notre séjour. Cela peut être pratique en cas de besoin. Cependant, l'insonorisation laisse à désirer. On peut facilement entendre les hôtes et inversement. Les grandes fenêtres de la suite offrent une vue imprenable, mais elles donnent également sur la cour des hôtes. Un des éléments essentiels pour nous était le foyer extérieur. Cependant, pour des raisons d’assurance, les hôtes doivent allumer le feu eux-mêmes. Habituellement, nous aimons faire un feu chaque soir, mais nous n'étions pas à l'aise de le demander tous les soirs. De plus, les deux dernières soirées, les hôtes n’étaient pas disponibles pour le faire. Si vous cherchez une base pour explorer la région, cet hébergement est parfait. Pour ceux qui recherchent plus d’intimité et souhaitent se détendre tranquillement dans leur espace, il pourrait être utile de prendre en compte les points plus haut.
