About this property

West Hill House: Your 5 Star Vacation in a Private Home.

Newly built in 2007, West Hill House comes fully staffed. The house is next door to The Old Fort Bay Club and Beach. Sit on the Verandah with a cocktail and take in the lush surroundings. Or walk two minutes down a private lane and visit the gym, the pool or the award-winning restaurant and bar at the Club.

The house does not have its own pool. The pool and beach are accessed via Old Fort Bay Club. These are charged directly to the club at an additional $150 per person, per day, or $5000 per household per week.

The luscious garden also includes a beach, swing set, zip line, tree house and fire pit.

Travelling with kids? All necessary children's gear is provided including high chairs, car seats, cribs and strollers.

We have one golf cart that is included in your stay to easily whizz you around the grounds.

The house has an extensive DVD collection, Apple TV access and wireless internet.

Daily Breakfast and maid service is included so you can relax and enjoy yourself.

Our wonderful housekeeper, Karla, can provide additional services like cooking, grocery shopping, baby-sitting etc at $25 per hour paid directly to her.

Wonderful restaurants, a whole foods like supermarket and shops are just minutes away.

Besides the award winning restaurant in the club and the burger shack on the beach, we also recommend
Goodfella's market - great lunch and fresh organic foods and luxury gourmet products.
Mahogany - wonderful restaurant, with a gourmet kiosk which sells meats cheese and wines. Just a 2 minute drive.

Getting Around

For those who want a break from relaxation, downtown Nassau is a 25 minute drive and has great shops,active nightlife, casinos and restaurants.

What a special place. Idyllic little slice of heaven. Great family home. Thank you for sharing!

Best vacation ever. If you are looking for the Vegas-style stay of Baha Mar, this is not you place. But, if you know the island and want to live like a local away from all the tourists in an exclusive area at an amazing property, this is as good as it gets. Definitely recommend renting a car to access grocery store, restaurants, and public beaches. It truly is one of those places that makes you really sad to leave. I already can’t wait to come back. :)

This was by far the most insane VRBO rental I've ever encountered. From the neighbor trespassing multiple times on the property regarding mundane complaints to my 12 year old daughter being threatened by their local security, and so on. The neighbor even contacted the home owner which verbally berated our party all of which was video recorded and sent to our attorney. Under no circumstance would I recommend ANYONE to rent this home.

Great property and our second visit. The island however is having difficulties with power and we suffered nightly power cuts which lasted up to 5 hours. It was a shame the house does not have a generator for such events which many of the other properties do. However still great value and a lovely place

What a wonderful spot! West Hill House is well-appointed, comfortable and classy. Home-cooked breakfasts on the porch (courtesy of the incomparable Karla), tooling around on the golf cart, and dining in or at one of the numerous local restaurants, all made our family’s holiday an absolute pleasure.

Beautiful property great service and details

We loved every thoughtful detail offered to us as guests, Karla was an amazing hostess, picked us up at the airport, made us a great complete breakfast, with lots of choices on a beautifully set table outside in the terrace overlooking a tropical yard. we were allowed to use a golf cart, we loved the extensive collection of books, and also enjoyed some of the table games. We would love to come back.

Spacious and Wonderful

The responsiveness was great - we had everything we needed and the convenience of having Karla available to assist with the weekend activities was fantastic. The home is exactly as advertised and more. The community is gated and the home is very secure while still allowing for open and airy accommodations. It was great to have the club right next to the home and everything fell into place over the entire weekend! We highly recommend!

Wonderful Home

The house was perfect for four couples. It is very close to the beach , a two minute walk. Steve the owner was wonderful and Karla was very helpful. She showed us around upon our arrival and made us a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend this house.
