Well appointed, luxurious, air conditioned, 2800 square foot 3 bedroom/3 bath lakeside property with beautiful views of Rainy Lake and many extras, including dock space. Incredible fully equipped kitchen with dual ovens. Laundry room with washer & dryer. Four flat panel TVs with multiple streaming channels included. The large furnished deck is perfect for viewing Rainy Lake, star watching or catching our incredible northern lights. Spacious bedrooms with a whirlpool bath in the master bathroom. Fireplaces in the living room and dining room. Within walking distance of licensed dining rooms.

The view is stunning, and the location is fantastic. For fishermen, we were far enough east that you don't need to boat miles to hit "hot spots". Kids were able to swim off the dock, and the yard is more than spacious enough for yard games. Our family of 7 (teen/grown kids) had ample room, and we spent a lot of time on the deck. Can't wait to come back.

This is a great house in every way. The house is comfortable and appealing. The house was immaculate. The house had paper products and trash bags that lasted the week, not common in our experience. There was an obvious attention to detail. The views were great and we docked our rented boat there for our visit. Fantastic experience for our family.

Annual Family Vacation

Wonderful family vacation

We traveled to the north woods with 5 kids, 3 adults and 1 senior. Swimming off the dock was a highlight. Laurie was a terrific host! We would absolutely stay here again!

Rainy Lake House

We had a wonderful time and saw the Northern Lights. A previous guest had broken the gas fire place pilot but it was warm and we didn't need it. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed here for 6 nights in mid September. It was absolutely wonderful. The house was incredible, Well equipped, clean, and comfortable. As with all VRBO's we selected it based on pictures but nice as they were, they didn't do the property justice (nothing negative about the pictures but when we got there....WOW!) You need to see it to understand.The house had everything that we needed or wanted. Beautiful deck overlooking Rainy Lake. Nice grill. Very comfortable beds. Lots of living space. Well appointed kitchen, and much more. We brought our boat and launched it a couple of miles up the road at the park visitors center then tied it up at the dock for the week. Down the stairs, in the boat, and we were off.There are also convenient dining and drinking establishments accessible by water. Thunderbird lodge is 1/4 mile and it is a short trip up to Ranier and International falls (check out Looney's pub). Lots of hiking in the area and other things to do on Rainy lake. If you are a fisherman (I am but not on this trip) it looks wonderful.I would definitely return if I were vacationing in the area again.Thanks Steve and Laurie
