Cozy House On The HILL 10 Min from Ft. Leonard Wood
We are located at the historical Rt 66 while only being 10 min from the main gate of Fort Leonard Wood. It is also walking distance to natural springs, trails, historic museums, gift shops, bars, restaurants, playgrounds, and so much more. We are a military family and know how much it means to be with your Soldier. Here you can relax, cook, play some games, sit outside and admire the remarkable view as well as the sunrises and sunsets. Don't feel like cooking, there are plenty options close by.

Super cute little place to stay while in the area! It’s within walking distance to downtown Waynesville and we enjoyed our time there. We would definitely stay there again if in the area!
We came to celebrate my niece’s graduation from Fort Leonard Wood and the property was perfect! The view of nature was gorgeous and it was in a perfect location to spend time with our soldier and celebrate.
It was nice and clean. Very cute home. Owner was very nice. Decor was pretty. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Took a little bit to figure the rainfall shower head but we figured it out. We were there visiting our daughter who is at Fort Leonard wood.
The property was clean, very homey and exactly as pictured.
We were there for family weekend at
FLW and it was very close, so going back and forth was easy.
My husband and I got married over the holidays and got this place as a little honeymoon and it was so wonderful. There was plenty of space, it was clean, and it was comfortable.

The property was what we expected. Clean, accommodating, nice place. The driveway was pretty steep but we were warned about this.
The property has some of the most beautiful views you'll ever see if you love the mountains this is a great place to stay! Everything is so green! We stayed the first week of June We were there for a military graduation. The property is located less than 10 minutes away from Fort Leonard Wood, which was perfect for us. The house was very cute and nicely decorated. There were a few more bugs than I would have liked in the bathroom but we were in the woods so it's probably to be expected. It did get cold at night and there weren't very many blankets available and because the property is smaller turning up the heat was not preferable so few more blankets would have been nice. All in all we had a great time while we were in town and the property suited our needs. If we come back to the area I would be happy to stay here again!
Our weeklong stay was truly a home away from home while we visited my daughter for her graduation at Fort Leonard Wood. It was wonderful to be able to cook her favorites for her, snuggle on the couch with a movie, and have a relaxed stay with family time. The close location to the base made getting to and from a breeze! The few questions I had as a 1st time Vrbo user were answered super fast.We went antiquing, visited local historical sites, and enjoyed the town. I’d 100% stay here again.
Had a wonderful family day with my son graduating from Fort Leonard!! Able to cook a meal in the kitchen and relax, play cards and watch movie. Highly recommend!!!
This is my 3rd time staying at one of Sabines homes in Waynesville. I’ve fallen in love with the area and these houses feel like a home of my own. I would highly recommend either of her properties! They are clean, well stocked, and have the little extra touches that make it special.
We rolled in late to this home and didn’t get to stay long, but everything was very clean and we found it to be exactly as described. It had everything we needed for our time there! Cute home, tastefully decorated, and all around perfect for what we needed!
This cozy home was perfect and had all the little extras that make it 5 stars. Fully stocked kitchen for family meals, cozy front porch with amazing views, and walking distance to main street Waynesville with shops and restaurants and a beautiful river, sping and walking trail.
We needed a place to stay so we could go see my cousin graduate from basic training. It was clean and very neat. Had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our stay! So close to base too.. it was perfect!
We had an amazing stay at Sabine’s house! Everything was perfect, beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed. Location was super close to FLW, and had a great view of downtown Waynesville. We went for an awesome walk along the river and took a drive to check out graffiti rock! 10/10 recommended
