The location of the home is very close to many areas. We were in town to explore more of Tarrytown (second trip) and it was only a 20 minute drive away. There were many restaurants and shopping options nearby the home and traffic was not overwhelming. The home is very quiet.

Pros: good location, spacious, has things you need like toddler potty, toddler dishes, responsive host when issues arised, kid and handicap friendly with a chair lift but the broken banisters negate that someCons: no blankets, not enough linens none for the pull out couch, heat did not work and was freezing but host came out and tried to fix it and then bought space heaters, banisters are broken

Hello, thank you for the feed back. There is blankets for every single bed even for the pull out couch you said. The linen and blankets are in a drawer if you can't find them, the simplest thing to do is to ask. Ask for anything you don't see. Thank you

If you are looking for an AFFORDABLE, clean place to stay with friends or family and close to NYC this is the place. The bathrooms have been remodeled and the upstairs shower is great! The remainder of the house needs a great deal of updating, remodeling and could use some decorating advice. However, if this was done, they could ask for A LOT more. So, it depends on what matters most to you. It certainly served our purpose.

This was an unexpected trip due to a death in the family. Considering we didn't plan to travel to NYC, we were happily surprised this house was equipped with everything we needed, from new kitchen appliances like air fryer, rice cooker, and crockpot to hair dryer, garment steamer, plenty of towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc. The beds, sheets and pillows were hotel quality. The house was comfortable and homey. Plus it had parking! It's located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. It's a five to ten minute drive from supermarkets and major retail stores. The host was quick to respond to any and all inquiries. Did I mention the house was very, very clean? We are extremely grateful to have found this place.

Lovely place, Big and warm.

This place is very nice, we had a great time. The stairways had elderly assist chairs and rails, which make and full size luggage a challenge, but the benefits far outweigh that, and we would happily book this place again.
