Wonderful time

The home was beautiful, the owner was very responsive, and the neighborhood is nice! This is our second time staying at Oceanside Village, first time in this property, and will definitely return!

This home is beautiful and very well maintained. It is roomy and has everything you need to cook and be comfortable. There is great internet, tvs, grill, parking, and beach supplies. It is also a safe community that has a lot of amenities.The owner was very communicative and helpful with all questions I had. I highly recommend this home.

We had a great time at the beach, and we love staying at OSV. We have always had great experiences with our rentals there. This was no different. Shawn was very easy to communicate with, and responded quickly.

Beach Vacation

The house was a great place to spend the week! The location was great and the house had everything that we needed. Everything was a quick golf cart ride away. Our host responded quickly to the few questions that we had. Our family made some great memories!

Great space

This space was really great - kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook, clean spaces, tons of beach toys and chairs, beach towels, ect. We've stayed in this neighborhood before and like always it's such a friendly and quiet neighborhood close to the beach. The indoor pool is currently not open, but there's a large outdoor pool, splash pad and hot tub area. We were a little nervous about coming during Memorial Weekend, but the neighborhood and beach were still pretty chill.

Great house in a nice community

The house was great as advertised. Two places to park cars underneath. Storage area in the garage area accessible. Some beach chairs and pool noodles for use. We purchased the parking card and used it for the beach access. That was worth it. Wish we allocated more time to stay in that property.

Great

Really good homeowner, very fast responses when needed. Check in has changed so it’s a little different than what was written but not a big deal. Make sure to bring $30 cash with you for a parking pass. House is very clean and well taken care of. Very good spot!

The property was in a great community. The owner was easy to work with. The house was as large and appropriated as shown. It was listed as wheelchair accessible though. It did have a wooden ramp that needed work because the boards have aged. However, that was the only wheelchair accessible item. There was no handrails in the bathroom or shower, so we needed to rent items to make it more accessible. On a positive note it had a washer and dryer making laundry easy.

Cable TV was poor. Light in laundry room is a safety hazard could start fire. Lacking chairs to sit and watch the TV

Bob, Although I appreciate you took the time to write a review, I believe it maybe a bit of a miss-representation of the property. The cable is offered by Spectrum on a smart tv platform. I understand technology isn't everyone's strongpoint, however if this was a issue for you I could have walked you through it. Also, a compact florescent bulb that has burnt out is not a fire hazard, its a simple repair that could have been addressed if brought to my attention. Finally, how many options for siting would one person require? A couch, love seat, and futon have sufficed for a family of six for the past 8 years.

Awesome place to stay and play

First impression was excited. We arrived and everything was extremely easy to get in and get started. Rented a golf cart, would love to have one there, but rental was cheaper than outside rentals. The neighborhood was amazing with 2 pools and splash pad. The beach was easily accessible and allowed us to go and come back as needed. Beach was not too crowded and the Conch Cafe looked amazing. Definitely want to stay again and come back next year. Thanks Shawn and appreciate your quick and fast responses. Justin

Full review pros and cons

Rating 9 on a scale from 1 to 10. Signature characteristic of this property- cleanliness. furnishings, decor, and build are not new, very clean and very functional, new refrigerator. A/C nice and cool, good circulation with ceiling fans. Plenty of room for our family of four - spacious. 3 TVs on location, lots of Wii games. TV in the master bedroom!!! which was nice. Board games. 2 bathrooms with one en suite. Minutes from the beach so you can get your steps in! Additionally the indoor pool was also minutes away. There was an outdoor shower although we couldn’t find a way to turn it on. We took advantage of both the pool and the beach and enjoyed ourselves. The property is handicap ♿️ accessible and makes wheeling our luggage easier. The kitchen was fully stocked with what we needed and we cooked twice - breakfast and dinner- and there was plenty of space for a 4 person family like ours. Extra person could sleep on the futon but we did not need it. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. So we have some feedback on areas of improvement: 1. The exterior ramp and stairs, though conveni

We had an amazing stay! From the moment we booked, the owner was incredibly responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. He made the entire process stress free and was always quick to answer any questions we had.The house was exactly as advertised. Clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation. It truly felt like a home away from home, and the location couldn’t have been better. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be staying here again on future trips. If you’re looking for a fantastic beach rental with a wonderful owner, don’t hesitate to book this one. Highly recommend!
