Peaceful and Quiet Place to Relax on 20 acres just 5 minutes from town

Looking for a great place to stop after a long day of travel or a weekend away to unwind and relax? Our two bedroom/two bath guest house is the perfect choice! We are located 5 miles outside of Junction, Texas on 20 acres. One bedroom has a king bed, the second has a full bed and the living room couch makes into a queen sleeper perfect for young kids. The guest house has the basic kitchen appliances should you choose to prepare your own meals, a small charcoal grill outside, and a washer and dryer to keep those clothes refreshed! The small front porch is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage while enjoying the beautiful sunrise/sunsets. While we (the owners) live on site, you will still enjoy a level of privacy on the 20 acres. Swimming, kayaking, bird watching are all within 15 -20 minutes away and wine country in Fredericksburg is about an hour drive.

Exceeded expectations! Perfect location- close to town yet its in the country. Very peaceful, super quiet, lots of different birds, beautiful view of the hills in the distance. Its exactly what we wanted and we will definitely be back! Great communication from the hosts and even though they live on the property, you don’t even know they are there! 10 out of 10 on every aspect.

This place was excellent. It was comfortable and quiet. We really enjoyed our time here. The bedrooms were stocked with extra blankets, and there was plenty of towels as well. Everything in the kitchen was modern and worked well. It was nice to have an outdoor grill and a patio area to sit or have items for the river. I did message the host to extend our stay and they accommodated us immediately. Its located closer to town than the map makes it look like. My kids enjoyed winding down to the TV in the cozy living area. This is the place to stay, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you!

It's a beautiful, pristine property. It is actually better and bigger than the pictures make it appear! We thoroughly enjoyed being there. Sheila was very communicative and kind. They left treats for us and we were in need of nothing. We would love to stay there again. The drive out of town is not that far and it's nice to feel more isolated. Stars, deer, and birds are nice company. The owner's house is close but you don't feel aware of it for the most part. It's a great place to stay!

House was very clean and updated nicely to make you feel right at home. Beds were nice and comfy, tons of room throughout the house, and all essentials you need are stocked in each room. Plenty of outdoor seating to help take in the beautiful hill country views. While only 5 minutes from town it is very peaceful. Very dark sky’s for perfect star viewing at night. Sheila and Greg are great hosts, easy to communicate with, and have a beautiful property. We would definitely stay here again.
