On the UTV/ATV route and nearby snowmobile trails. The cabin is steps away from crystal clear Durphee and LCO lakes with shallow, sandy bottoms at the public access. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, wooded lot for privacy. This Northwoods escape is the perfect getaway for outdoor enthusiasts during all seasons of the year.

THE CABIN
The floor plan offers an open and inviting space with a large, bright kitchen (includes all your kitchen essentials), dining, and living room that makes for a great space for gathering with family and friends. The living room is furnished with a couch, loveseat, gas fireplace, and 55" smart TV. Cozy up on the couch in front of the fireplace watching your favorite movie (includes free Wi-Fi and Netflix) or enjoy reading Our Wisconsin magazines available in the living room. The dining room has a table with 4 chairs and a card table and 4 chairs are available to expand the table and seating to accommodate 8 persons.

This fully furnished home has 2 bedrooms and a large loft with vaulted ceilings. The main level has 1 bedroom with 1 queen size bed located next to the full bath (shower/tub combo). The upstairs offers a second bedroom with 1 queen size bed and large family room in the loft with 2 full-size futons, a shelf with cards and board games, and makes a great space for kids. Walk out the 2 sliding doors onto the upstairs balconies to enjoy listening to the loons and birds while sipping on your morning coffee.

OUTDOOR SPACE
Enjoy the outdoor living space on the wrap around deck located out the 2 sliding doors off the living room or the lawn for yard games. Grill up your favorite dinner on the new gas grill. Sip your morning coffee, enjoy a glass of wine, or bask in the sun on the outdoor deck. The lower deck and upstairs balcony offer filtered views of Durphee Lake. Relax in the outdoors with an evening campfire roasting marshmallows, telling stories, and making memories by the outdoor firepit that includes firewood during your stay. Parking for vehicles and trailers, plowed during winter months for trailer parking.

AMENITIES
We have all the conveniences of home...free WI-FI, Netflix, smart TVs, coffee pot, dishes, drinkware, cookware, toaster, crockpots, and utensils. All beds are provided with clean linens and comforters. Bathroom and kitchen towels are also included, but we do ask that you provide your own beach towels as our towels are not allowed for outdoor use.
*Note: There is no air conditioning in the cabin, however there are ceiling fans and portable fans.

THE AREA
Located off a flat paved road with sneak peaks of LCO and Durphee lakes makes for perfect walking or biking around the area. Angler's Haven Resort is just a half mile from the cabin with a bar and restaurant that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Their outdoor deck has a great view of Lake LCO.

We do not have private lake access, however, public access is nearby. Walk a few hundred feet to the Durphee boat launch or a half mile to Harvey Park Rustic Trail for public access to Lake LCO. Great for paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes.

The cabin is located 3 miles from LCO and Grindstone boat launches for fishing and watersports. LCO is 5000 acres with a max depth of 90 feet with two restaurants and bars accessible by boat or vehicle, boat gas is available at Trails End Resort. Grindstone Lake is 3000 acres and has a max depth of 60 feet. These lakes are crystal clear and make for great swimming with sandbars and shallow, sandy areas to get out and enjoy the water.

This is an excellent location to stay for year round fishing, riding the trails, your fall color tour, or Christmas in Hayward. The property is minutes away from restaurants, bars, gas stations, casino, golf, and shopping around Hayward, Stone Lake and Birchwood. Nearby biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. Come enjoy all that the area has to offer from the Birkebeiner, Lumberjack Show, Festivals, Stone Lake Cranberry Fest, wineries, and so much more.

TRAIL ACCESS:
UTV/ATV: You can ride the road 7 miles to access the off road UTV/ATV trail by the LCO Country Store (gas, grocery, beer, liquor, and ice).

Snowmobile: Ride the road/ditch 1.5 miles to access the nearest trail.

Nearby Trail Access with Trailer Parking: Sevenwinds Casino located at 13767 Co Rd B - Park behind the Lodge in the parking area on Trail #30 or there is a parking lot just northwest of the intersection of Co K and Co B at the intersection of Trail #30 and #31.
