This property (and gardens) were beautiful and inspiring, and incredibly dog friendly. We felt very welcome there and right at home. Be sure to walk the trails on the property! You could definitely spend an entire weekend at the cottage without having to get back into your car. I finally finished a book I haven’t had time for and painted for the first time in years. :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The peacefulness of the property was a bonus. We enjoyed bringing our dog as she had plenty of space to run around on property and at Dog Mountain. The mountain views of the sunrise and sunsets were stunning. We will book here again in the fall as it was everything that we needed. No need for TV here, just some music was all we needed.

The property is absolutely gorgeous! Great location. We stayed for a month and it was just perfect. Had everything we needed to cook and be cozy. The bed was really really comfortable. That’s a treat when you stay somewhere for a month

The location is beautiful and quiet. The unit is lovely, clean, and the bed very comfortable. We lost power for a while but the unit was on a generator, so no problem. The only drawback was that there was not stove top, so cooking was limited to boiling water and a microwave.

The cottage was amazing, relaxing, clean, and well stocked. I absolutely did not want to leave and go home because we loved it so much. The walking trails along the property were lovely and the art installation pieces were interesting! The cottage was clean and well organized. We Loved sitting on the deck, taking in the view. I cannot wait to return!

This was the most idyllic spot for me. After being away from the “Northeast Kingdom” for more than a decade I needed a retreat space and got more than I was looking for! The mountain views were gorgeous with so many hues of blue and green. The cottage was so attractive and comfortable, close to Lyndonville, St. Johnsbury as well as East Burke. Meryl and David were extremely welcoming and helpful. The bigger than life sculptures on the property added a bit of whimsy and fun. I can’t say enough about this awe inspired setting. I hope to be back soon!

Magical cottage in the mountains

We couldn’t of been happier at this cozy cottage. When we arrived, the heat was on and everything was clean and well appointed. We spent four days exploring the region on skis, snow shoes, and yak tracks. We love this place and look forward to returning.

Week stay while oldest son in MTB camp

We wanted to be close to the Kingdom Trails and have a dog friendly place. This worked out perfectly for our family. With the fast Internet I was able to work a couple of the days as well. The views are amazing, great outdoor space with many walking areas. It's also centrally located to many of the other towns and places we wanted to visit.

Gorgeous property. There was an ice storm during our stay and we came directly from Burke Mountain and realized we needed more brake fluid upon arrival. The location is up and away from town so definitely having 4WD and brake fluid is a must. The property manager brought us some prior to us checking out which was very much appreciated.

Beautiful property that we were so blessed to have been allowed to share. Even in the heat, this little house was easy to keep cool. We were there for 6 nights and didn’t have any issues. I do like to cook most of our meals on vacation though, and that was a little difficult to do in the small kitchen space…but if that’s not an issue with you, give this place a shot. Great location, close to everything but peaceful and quiet for those of us who aren’t keen on staying in town. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Dream property

Quiet, picturesque with gardens, art, and long views. The grounds are meticulously kept. Loads of room to roam with my dog. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. A perfect place to relax and “regroup”. I can not think of one thing that could make my stay any better. Highly recommend and hope I get back.
