Co Kerry has spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing The Atlantic Ocean, Kerry features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas. There are lots of opportunities for sailing, fishing and boating tours. Inland Kerry continues to delight with breathtaking mountains ,lovely lakes and valleys offering wonderful walking and cycling Clare has an abundance of visual riches from the famous River Shannon and Lough Derg to its rugged coastline with the towering Cliffs of Moher, the unique Burren landscape and golden blue flag beaches. You can cross the Shannon Estuary by car ferry from Tarbert in Kerry to Killimer in Clare. For golf enthusiasts there is an excellent choice of courses all within easy driving distance.
