Oglethorpe Lodge is a unique place to stay just steps away from the Savannah River, beautiful, cobble-stoned River Street and the Riverfront. River Street offers several restaurants, art galleries and boutiques.

When staying at the Oglethorpe Lodge, you can expect a comfortable room with plenty of space and amenities. The suite includes a full kitchen and living space for visiting with friends and family. Extra sleeping space is included with a pullout sofa in the room. The suite has a designated off-street parking space located behind the lodge.

The Oglethorpe lodge has off-street parking behind the lodge, where guests can enter their suite. In this same area is a bricked in courtyard, where outdoor meals or visits can take place.

This was a great find. Perfectly located, close to all the historic district sites, shops and restaurants. The rooms had all we needed and the nighttime was quiet. Parking was convenient. For two couples who would normally have to get two hotel rooms in this area, we saved about 600 over four nights. Next time I’m in Savannah I will stay here again.

This nice historic suite has a fantastic spot, very close to River Street restaurants and shops. Also, we were within walking distance to board “the hop on, hop off “ tour bus to see the beautiful Historic District. Everything was nice, clean and comfortable.

What a great place to stay in downtown Savannah! So close to everything - River St, Broughton St and so much more in the historic district. The free onsite parking was very helpful. The unit was clean and was stocked with plenty of towels, dishes and even coffee. Also had a lot of pamphlets and info for things to do around Savannah. We would definitely stay here again for our next visit

Amazing location in the historic district with 2 queen bedrooms, 2 baths and a designated parking spot. Lots of restaurants and shops within convenient walking distance. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms were clean with extra blankets. Communication was easy with the host and so was the checkin and checkout process. Thank you, we enjoyed our girls celebratory girls weekend and we’ll return.

The Oglethorpe is an absolutely beautiful property conveniently located for a riverside walk or to pick up the Olde Town Trolley at a stop less than a block away It's also easy walking to other historic sites.The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, as is the rest of the apartment. We had an awesome dinner at Vic's on the River, which is right across the street from the apartment.Take a drive out to Tybee Island if you are not staying out there at some point in your stay. The marine center is small but very informative, and the nature center on Oatland Island. We had a wonderful dinner at Sundae Cafe. Book seats at the bar!! Kristie, our bartender/hostess was terrific!!
