Great location! Very relaxing and spacious for our mini family reunion. Was great to have boats, bikes, and games available to minimize what we needed to bring. Well-appointed kitchen and beautiful sunsets!

We had a lovely week with extended family. The house was well-appointed, comfortable, easy access to stores etc as needed, beautiful view, lots of lovely places to sit and look at the lake! I definitely recommend :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while in the Burlington area. There were 8 of us (4 couples). The house was very well appointed and very clean. We had everything we needed. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. There were tables inside and out that could accommodate 8. We appreciated the nice grill. Would highly recommend.

A classic farmhouse with its deck perched on the edge of the lake with stunning views. Easy access to Burlington and St Albans. My grandkids had a blast swimming, kayaking, playing air hockey and pool. Perfect family house for multi-generational fun.

This is a wonderful property. It's an incredibly comfortable old house with lots of porch additions. We had a party of five couples and assorted other family members and it accomodated our group very well. There were many places and opportunities for group activities as well as one-on-one interactions. The setting is beautiful. We all spent lots of time in the water from the private dock, swimming raft and kayaks. I will remember the light of the sun, the wind, and the sounds of the water for a long time.

the place was beautiful however the previous visitors did not empty the garbage, there was no room for our garbage and the can was full of maggots

Sorry about the trash. Our trash only comes once a week, Our house instructions state that regardless of when a renter leaves, they are to take the trash cans to the street Monday night for Tuesday morning pick up. We sent the instructions to the renters before they arrive and also provide the instructions on the refrigerator. It is important for all of the renters to follow the house instructions.

If you are looking for a great family getaway you NEED to book this place. We came up for UVM Commencement and we absolutely loved this home. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and more to cook in and feed the family. There is a whole bookshelf full of games and puzzles; 5 bedrooms with room for privacy and the house is so spacious you don’t feel like you are bumping into each other. The view is AMAZING snd we couldn’t stop saying ‘wow! Look at this place!’ Susan the host was easily reachable and communicative. Don’t let this one slip by! We hope to come back again for sure!

My family loves staying at Susan Orr’s wonderful house on Lake Champlain. The house has everything you might need, including a fully stocked kitchen and so many possibilities for entertainment (e.g. kayaks, air hockey, volley ball, games, and more). Perhaps best of all is the incredibly beautiful view of the lake.

This is the most beautiful setting imaginable! Beautifully cared for grounds. It sits right on the lake, fantastic porch/room running the width of the house overlooking NY coast. Cozy, charming rooms. It feels like you are staying in a home, not a rental. Plenty of “toys” for all ages! This was our fourth stay and we’ve already booked next year.
