This quiet getaway was exactly what we needed. This little cottage was absolutely amazing and beautiful, clean on the inside and well maintained. My wife loved everything about it not to mention they even decorated for Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend to stay in the small town of Carthage and stay at the cottage. It has definitely been put on our list of places to revisit!

Weekend get away

This place was the cutest and perfect little get away for my husband and me. It was close to home but far enough to make a great weekend.

This is a cozy quaint little cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect place to stay. The inside of the property is maintained very well. My only disappointment was there was not water in the pond. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved the antique country cottage vibe. It was very nice. We recommend this cottage for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was clean and compact as necessary for space. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures.

Great little nook!

Tucked away off the street, barely visible from any angle. It is small and quaint. Lots of vegetation and privacy. Recommended

Overnight getaway

The cottage is so cute and cozy! It was a perfect retreat from our busy days! There was only one complaint - I was looking forward to the jacuzzi bath the most, but when my husband ran the bath for me and turned on the jets, particles came rushing out of the jets and it totally grossed me out.

Attention to detail

I am a total sucker for antique aesthetics and beautiful woodwork, and i was absolutely in love with y’all’s cottage! The attention to detail—from the cozy color scheme and charming decor to the thoughtful amenities and little extras for things guests might forget—was incredible. The layout is perfect, and the whole space just feels warm and inviting. There are so many unique touches both inside and out that make it feel truly special. The only reason I didn’t give full stars for the neighborhood is that most local shops and restaurants closed early on Saturday (by 2pm), which made exploring a bit tricky. But honestly, it’s not a dealbreaker at all—the cottage itself is worth every bit if you’re looking to unwind and escape the hustle of everyday life.
