The house is lovely on the inside, nicely appointed and very comfortable. And the fire pit outside was delightful for both evening fire and a morning fire with coffee. The host had even supplied fire wood!Be aware there are no stores, not even a quick stop, anywhere nearby. But it is nicely situated just down the road from the town of Augusta and right off of hwy 94 to reach the wineries. It is definitely a property we would return to the next time we want a quick few days in Missouri wine country.

Great little getaway in a stunning home!

Went to Augusta with my husband to meet up with my parents for the weekend. The house was clean and stocked (apprecitaed the cooking spray and tin foil!) We are so glad that was the house we picked. It was perfect inside and out (even though it was too hot to use fire pit) and in a great location for all the wineries! We would definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our stay after a long day of riding on the Katy Trail we could easily come back and make dinner. Breakfast too, before we took off. Well equipped kitchen, beds were comfy, and bathrooms were well supplied. We will be back.
