The Lakeside Resort was a perfect setting for our family in town for funeral/celebration of life for my father. The rooms were cozy and plenty of space for all of us. We spent evenings gathered in the kitchen and table playing games and reminiscing. The piano was a nice feature too. And the sunsets were amazing each night!
Great location right on the lake. Very clean, and the hosts were happy to help with suggestions for local businesses and were prompt in responses to any answers. Would definitely stay again!
The view was amazing! My sister and our adult daughters took in some shopping, the wineries, excellent dinners and took turns in soaking jacuzzi tub, went for pedicures, drank wine by the fire. All a quick trip and then got to lounge around a lake front big house with a huge kitchen. Cozy, convenient, and an excellent responsive host!
Great home with spectacular views of the lake. Owners are friendly and quick to respond to any issues. Highly recommend spending a week/weekend at this home. Avon Lake is a top ten community in OH.
My family of 5 had a great time at this house. We spent 10 days here. Had nightly fires, grilled out on the deck watching the sunset and even got some.fiahing in off the pier next door. We look forward to staying again.
We held a weekend memorial service for our parents. The home provided us a lovely serene and space for our family get together. We had such a lovely time we're considering making the journey again next year.
Lake view was beautiful as well as the weather. Accommodated large family reunion (24). Fridge needs an update, and beds could be better, but house is beautiful, great location, friendly neighbors. Kitchen is well stocked. It couldn't have been much better for us, and we would definately stay there again. Thanks for having us!
Another awesome stay on the lake front. The hosts were kind and prompt with any issues that arose. Only complaint is the house was moderately dirty but the views were spectacular and the neighbors were very kind and friendly. Definitly looking forward to staying at this location in the future
This property was extremely nice. Host was prompt answering any questions we had. Neighbors were kind and location was perfect for fishing and relaxing. Definitely looking forward to coming back next yr.
We had a very nice stay at this property. The views of the lake are wonderful. The listing was accurate. Very responsive host. Very nice finishes in kitchen and master bath. The kitchen had everything you would need. The house has plenty of room and gathering seating areas. It was nice having the park next door to take walks and bird watch. We will defiantly be back again soon.
New kitchen, well equipped and stocked. Master bath is excellent with heated floor! The view is outstanding! Walk to boat ramp for paddleboarding. Pet friendly with fenced area (fence needs work). Nice deck with plenty of seating, grill, 2 fire pitts. Party lights didn’t work. Private location. There was some demolition noise from old power plant down the street. Location is 10 minutes away from Huntington beach which boasts clean beaches, nice people, lifeguards snack bar, bathrooms.

Liked: Communication, location
The view was fantastic. The master bathroom was very impressive. The owners were very good when it came to quick responses. Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The refrigerator had food particles. The floors and rug needed vacuuming. Something exploded in the microwave and had not been cleaned. The gas patio fireplace might have a leak because we could smell gas while using the fireplace.
The home is gorgeous and in a very convenient location. The fenced side yard was very helpful for the pup. The home sits up on a bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Erie. We enjoyed every sunset on the big deck. The swimming beach that is right next door sadly is no longer open due to erosion. But there were a few nearby beach options just a short drive away. The home had everything we needed and the hosts were kind and communicative. The drive in to the city was very easy so we could rest and relax at the home and also zip into Cleveland to see the sights. We also enjoyed the boat ramp at the park next door with our paddle boards. Highly recommend!
Property was as advertised and kitchen well stocked. We struggled with using the level app to access property at first because we were unfamiliar with it. But, was easy to use once we gained initial access. Download app first. If the invite link from host isn’t “clickable”, type it in your browser. From there it will open the app and is easy. The hosts were very responsive to questions. Would stay again.
Beautiful location and great house for a family weekend!
We met my daughter and her college friends for a long weekend. Plenty of room for my daughter, her 2 friends, husband and our younger daughter - the layout allowed us all to have our own wing. We also brought our dog, great gated side yard and closed in deck for herc
to explore.
Deck and view were amazing, but too windy to sit outside - no worries, plenty of large windows to enjoy the view.
Location was great for us - next to a nice park and close to Cleveland. Owner was easy to contact and very responsive
GPS directions were accurate but the house was dark so a bit hard to find at night.
We would love to stay again, hopefully when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy the deck.
Wonderful setting on the shores of Lake Erie. Far enough away from the Cleveland hustle and bustle but not too far if you need to venture into town. While the house is on a busier thoroughfare, it is set back far enough from the road you never notice the traffic…it is almost literally right on top of the water which is the main attraction. We were a party of six, including an infant and enjoyed the house immensely. Already talking about a return trip next year. Our only gripes were the numerous light switches, some of which control outlets, they were difficult to figure out over a weekend visit, and the primary bedroom mattress is probably ready for an upgrade, but overall, it was a very enjoyable stay at a beautiful house on the water. Great host communication.
This is a nicely designed house with a great view of Lake Erie. All of the basics are there, plus extras like a nice deck, fire pit, and plenty of privacy, even though it is adjacent to a public boat ramp. The ramp was a non-factor and we even forgot about it being there. It was nice, however, to be able to walk over and out on the pier. There is a nice back lawn for playing bocce, lawn darts, etc. with the lake as a backdrop. There is no direct access from the property to the water. The negative that we have to cite is that the cleaning crew for that week failed to show up and we were faced with a dirty house and a broken kitchen sink. On a positive note, communication with the owners on these issues was good and they were responsive and resolved the issues promptly. The last topic does not pertain directly to this house, but to the area in general. If you’re not familiar with mayflies and midges, look them up. They are pesky enough to have helped the Cleveland Indians beat the Yankees in a playoff game a few years back.
