Lakeside Country Cabin with private dock!

Location! Location! Location! Lakeside Country Cabin is located on a corner cove backing up to over 100 feet of waterfront access and views in the Cambridge Shores neighborhood. Lakeside Country Cabin is only 1 hour from Dallas and 2-1/2 hours from Oklahoma City and offers an easy departure to a quieter life. Overlooking the lake, enjoy sitting in our enclosed sunroom or under a canopy of trees while enjoying our firepit. Walk down to the dock, jump in, swim, sunbathe, or fish.
Our cabin is very eccentric with vintage furnishings. Nothing like going back in time when it is more about making memories and spending time with the ones that matter the most. Enjoy vintage decor throughout our cabin. Our cabin is approximately 1,300 sq ft and has four bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms, a kitchen, living room with TV, washer, and dryer. The cabin can sleep 6 adults and 3 children comfortably in beds. We also have pull-out couches that can accommodate more guests. The air-conditioned and heated sunroom adds 1,000 sq ft for entertaining, gathering, and watching the beautiful views of Lake Texoma. This is my favorite spot in the house and I'm sure it will be yours too!
Days at Lakeside Country Cabin can be relaxing watching the boats float by or reading a book. Enjoying the large backyard and watching the kids swim and jump off the dock is priceless. Don't forget you can fish off the dock. Do you remember catching your first fish? Plenty of room to play games in the backyard. Sit back and watch the sunset on the water! Memories are abundant!

Great Escape!

Great location on Lake Texoma. Plenty of room to entertain and visit with friends. Excellent outdoor seating an close walk to onsite private dock. Ample parking. Great air conditioning.

Our sheets were dirty and had hair and makeup on the pillow cases. Right when we got there we had to go buy toilet paper. The house overall was clean, but knowing the sheets had not been washed was gross. The dock was super nice.

Great location, easy check-in, cold AC! We had a blast! The private dock was nice since we had 2 boats. The only thing I noticed was when we were checking out and going through the rules, we went to load the dishwasher, but couldn’t find one. So we just did them by hand. Not a big deal though.

Beautiful property. We really enjoyed it. Not being computer savvy, I would have preferred to be able to speak with someone directly when we had trouble getting the front door code. Also-perhaps some landscaping terrace or steps down to the fishing dock.would be nice. It would make it easier (and safer) for older people to get down there. Overall, an excellent experience and we really enjoyed our trip.

Failure To Notify

One of the sole reasons people rent this home I'm sure is because of the floating dock you have access to. I rented the home for this reason and was not told the dock was not usable because the bridge walkway to the dock was under water. Very disappointed!

Management company should be fired.

Never received checkin instructions with code for entry. Had to call VRBO to get in. Lovely conversation via VRBO with the owner who gave me the code. First morning to make breakfast the A/C was tripped and went out. It was immediately 82 degrees in the home with calls and texts unanswered. While we were out on our boat a service person had to enter the home to fix it. Slept nicely but next morning, while making breakfast, the A/C went out again. Again there was not immediate response to the fact that it had gone out once again, and again it was extremely hot in the property while we were getting things together to vacate the property. A charming, nostalgic home but this headache was not worth it!
