Your golf cart can be parked on the quiet side street of this corner lot, or directly within the property fence.

Cozy getaway

The upper cottage was exactly what the owners said, cozy and sweet! The owners were amazing, and responded quickly to our questions and needs! Wonderful people. The beach was beyond belief, and so was the price of a meal! To be expected on an island. We hope to return someday.

Charming stay

We rented the upper floor of the house and really enjoyed our stay. The decor is lovely, and the place has everything needed for comfort, including strong hot water pressure, two AC units, and plenty of beach towels. The only downsides were the uneven flooring, which can be a bit inconvenient, and the sloped ceiling, which made it tricky for my 6’5” (195 cm) husband to move around. The location is excellent—easy walking distance to everything.

Why they chose this property

Harbour Island is all it's splendor highlight is most certainly it's beautiful pink sands beach. Just a 5 minute golf cart ride from Dunmore House, you can rent beach chairs from any of the beach vendors at the public entrances, and lounge on your chair, read a book while the kids play and soak up some sun.

What makes Dunmore House so special is it being an historic cozy little cottage in the heart of Harbour Island. It is centrally located in town in close proximity to food stores and restaurants.
