Lazy Look out is the perfect house for the entire family including your fur babies (must pay a pet fee). The house sits at a cool elevation above 4000' on Beech Mountain. Located in a quite and relaxing part of the mountain with nearby waterfalls and plenty of hiking and biking. This lovely mountain retreat is located on a beautiful lot with a private fenced in yard. Gorgeous long range views from the full back deck. Open living concept with hardwood floors throughout. Modern kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counters. Vaulted great room with fireplace faces the views on the back. Master suite on the main level and a powder room for guests. Below are a den, 2 bedrooms that share a bath and another master ensuite. The private fenced back yard is easily assessed from the bottom level. This house offers the perfect surroundings to enjoy a quite mountain getaway. Just an 8 minute drive to the ski slopes and everything Beech Mountain has to offer.

The house was darling! Great layout and wonderful kitchen to cook a huge dinner and breakfast for the group! Great proximity to Beech Mnt. For a ski weekend. It was raining so we didn’t get to use the outdoor fire pit! We will be renting here again!

One of the sliding doors was missing a latch, so it did not lock. the door was on a balcony with a beautiful view, so it was no problem. It was minutes from the ski slopes. We liked the house and the area.

Great Stay!

Our mountain stay was absolutely amazing! The views were simply fantastic, and the property had everything we needed. Our dog had an absolute blast exploring the area. Our family of 6 plus grandpa had a great stay, and we're already planning to come back! It was a perfect getaway and a truly memorable experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I spent a week at Lazy Lookout with my daughter and two young grandsons over Christmas. It was absolutely incredible! The cabin could not have been better had I designed it myself! There was a breakfast bar for the boys, a pub table and a very large dining table for doing jigsaw puzzles. We did 5! lol The living room and kitchen are large and beautifully appointed. The primary suite is on the main floor and is large with a jetted tub. Downstairs was very roomy and comfortable.We loved the level entry and plenty of parking had we needed it. The boys loved building a fire in the pit and making s'mores. And the proximity to the slopes was perfect. The boys attended ski school 3 days.The icing on the cake - we woke up Tuesday morning to about 3 inches of snow and actively snowing! Snow had not been forecasted.We have been going to Beech since 1981. There was a span of time that we didn't go, but my daughter and I have been taking the boys the past three years so the tradition continues. We asked them if they wanted to go somewhere else next year and they said no. They want to go back to Beech!By the way...Beech Mountain Chalet Rentals, particularly Angela (Angie) is fantastic! She even had her husband set up a Christmas tree for us. It was perfect!

Great house, wonderful mountain views!

This cabin is very nice, has all amenities you may expect and extra! The bedrooms are large and very well positioned on two levels, the decks and the fenced in backyard is great for dogs! We came with 3 teenagers and they were very happy to have the downstairs bedrooms with their own hallway tv while our master bedroom was upstairs! One of the downstairs bedrooms had a private full bathroom which was a nice surprise but generated some envy among the teens!! The view from the living room and attached deck are fabulous. Very fast communication with the host and extremely easy check in! We would like to return! Great find!

This house was perfect for our long weekend ski trip. It was even more spacious than it looked in the pictures. The beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything needed to make meals, the home was super clean, distance from Ski Beech was a short 10 min drive and we loved we were able to bring along our furbaby. We had 7 adults and 2 children with us and had plenty of room to hang out. We will definitely consider staying in this home again when in the area! Beech Mountain Chalet Rentals manages the booking and it was a very smooth check in and checkout process. Diana was very quick to respond to all my questions. The only thing I can think that would make this rental even better would be to add a hot tub. Everything else was perfect! Thanks for sharing your home!

These renters left food all over the house. They put glasses with liquid on wooden tables with coasters sitting right beside the glasses but that did not keep the water circles off the furniture. Dishwasher packed full but not run even though there was auto dishwasher tabs there. Lots more I could say but will stop. Would not want them back in one of our rental homes.
