We'd be delighted to host you again in the future.
We really enjoyed staying in the farmhouse. It honestly took me back to my childhood staying at my grandparents farmhouse. The house was very clean and cozy and we will return our next trip to Illinois!

You were great guests and are welcome back anytime! Were so-o happy that you enjoyed the farmhouse as much as we have! Just let us know when and we’ll have a warm pie in the oven for you.😊
Property was very comfortable. Jackie was very attentive to our needs. It was colder than normal and she provided an extra heater which made the teno in the house warm and cozy. We will definatly be back if we need to stay again in Sparta.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay! We would love to have you back anytime. You are great guests!
Everything was just as we remembered. Cozy, warm and comfortable. Our 14 year old GSP has been here before and we knew when she walked in she felt right at home. We lost her sister just 2 months ago and it gave us peace of mind when we left her to hunt for a few hours. Thank you Jackie for letting us bring our girl AJ and for the cute toy you left for her!

You are very welcome Lori! Your dogs are just the best just like you are. I loved meeting them and am heartbroken about Opal. I feel much better knowing AJ was feeling comfortable. That's what we like to hear and I know how that eases your minds to be able to hunt and enjoy it. You two, plus 1, are the wonderful guests. We'd love to host you again and maybe I could pet AJ. ;)
House was like grandma moved out. Older but clean. Listing did show 2 queen beds in the living room but there were only a couple of standard couches. Not a big deal this time as there were only two of us.

About the host
Hosted by Jackie Lindenberg
I was born in Sparta and this is my parents home on the farm where I grew up with my 4 sets of Aunts and Uncles and 12 cousins. We’d go down the dirt road, who wants to go swimming? By the time we got to the lake out back we had a group of 12 with several parents to lifeguard and referee!
Why they chose this property
It chose me. This is my family farm. Grandpa Bill & Grandma Mae gave an acres to each of their 5 surviving children, Eddie, Jim, Bob, Margret and David. The 3 oldest boys’ wives were named Pat. My Aunts were Eddie’s Pat, Jim’s Pat, Bob’s Pat and Margaret!
What makes this property unique
The movie, In the Heat of the night was filmed on Baue Farm in Baueville. Jesse’s garage was out back & up the hill. Filming was a big deal for this little town.
