About the host
Hosted by Jesiah Meng

My husband and I both grew up in Mckinleyville and now reside in the Bay Area. We purchased the Fern house so that we can have a place to stay when visiting our family and enjoying the nature near by. We have traveled a lot and prefer to stay in vacation rentals over hotels so we want to provide a safe and comfortable place for people to stay when they visit the beautiful North Coast.
Why they chose this property
This home is special to us as it belonged to our Grandparents. Since we bought the home we have updated the inside and out to make it feel modern but cozy.
What makes this property unique
The home is in a neighborhood but because it is on a gated flag lot, the property feels very private. The home is close to many amenities but still has that private feeling that we love.
