Just 100 feet to the shore with spectacular views of breath taking scenery sits this 1,800 sq.ft. vacation home for your enjoyment. The home is nestled within the Sierra National Forest at Angel Springs community, located between Millers Landing and The Forks Resort. This nicely appointed home is comfortable and spacious.

Enjoy ease of boating, fishing, swimming and other watercraft activities on the lake. Take advantage of the scenic walking, hiking, and biking trails. Enjoy boat rides over to the Marina Grill for live music. Venture out and explore the mountain region via all terrain vehicles. Just five minutes away from the Pine's Village in Bass Lake and strategically located close to the majestic Yosemite National Park and other popular sites. All fantastic!

'Bass Lake is a freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada, located 14 miles (23 kilometers) from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. The lake is considered a 'warm water' lake with water temperatures reaching 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months. Most of the land around the lake is part of the Sierra National Forest. The United States Forest Service designated the lake an official Recreation Area and has developed campgrounds and picnic areas on the south shore of the lake. Much of the area surrounding Bass Lake is devoted to the tourism industry.' The weather is warm and inviting during the Summer time, seasonally beautiful during the Spring and Fall months, and you will want to cozy up next to a warm fireplace on cold Winter days. Bass Lake is a great place for families with children, outdoor enthusiasts and others.

Family vacation on the Lake!

Best family vacation on the lake! The spacious deck and sunset views are the highlights of this home. Our host was very communicative with our preparation questions and so helpful with the best way to dock our boat. The house is elevated from the lake, but the beach and dock are secluded and quiet. Relaxing getaway!

Awesome Sunset Views

Right on the lake. Recently remodeled/updated. We loved the deck and the dock for boats/seadoos. The provided Kayaks and beach chairs were in good condition. Craig is a great host with a very nice place.Located very close to Miller's Landing for boat & other rentals.

Just spent a week here with our boys and their friends. The house is comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. This is our first time in the aide of the lake and we absolutely loved it!The deck is magical. Every afternoon wa sspent outside enjoying the lale view and hamging out.The house has everything you need to enjoy a week with family amd friends.Craig is lovely and very responsive!We look forward to coming back again!

Amazing

What an amazing location. When I wasnt sitting on the enormous deck looking at the spectacular view we were walking down to close dock, fishing, boating or sleeping in the most comfortable beds. The check in was simple and the host was fantastic. If anyone is looking for a great place to relax and have fun this is definitely the place for you.

This is a gorgeous property with a beautiful view and location on the lake! We enjoyed this cabin so much we booked it for a second visit and it did not disappoint. The new kitchen is gorgeous and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The hosts were easy to communicate with and eager to help.

A Wonderful Lake Retreat

We had two families stay at this lakeside retreat and it was dreamy! Well kept up and provided everything we would have wanted to enjoy the lake! A great deck overlooking the lake and an easy walk down to a beach by the lake with a dock for boats. Accommodations kept everyone comfortable with enough beds for everyone. A lovely experience start to finish!

Like our own Family Cabin

We loved our stay the first week in August. Our family of 6 was very comfortable, with plenty of beds for everyone. This cabin had so many great amenities, we truly felt like we were staying at a relative's cabin. The views are amazing. The deck is very inviting. We brought our boat and docked at the slip which was so convenient and fun. The owner was super helpful and welcoming. Truly loved our stay!

Wishing we were still in Wishon

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here at this beautiful property. The deck was our favorite: its huge, private and comfortable with lots of nice clean furniture to enjoy the lake. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with nice dishes and amenities. The owner was always available by phone if needed. We will definitely be back.

What an incredible home overlooking Bass Lake! The home is very clean, all the beds are super comfortable, and you cannot beat the views! We are a family of 6 ranging from teens down to a baby. The home was well stocked and maintained. The owner was so helpful and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Great Lake house with a view

Beautiful deck property with lake view. We had two families stay in the house and thoroughly enjoyed the deck with view, cooking in the open up to date kitchen fully stocked with spices (so helpful when you’re coming up for a few days). Plenty of beds and linens for all the house guests. Craig is a very responsive owner who is always willing to help you with any questions. We can’t wait to book a trip again.

Bass Lake Family Vacation

We had an amazing time at Bass Lake. This home was a perfect fit for us. We had a family member that required a walk-in shower and bedroom on the bottom floor. This home was laid out perfect. There were six of us in the home and it never once felt crowded. We lived on the deck from morning until sunset. We loved the kitchen and made most of our meals at home, enjoying the view we already had there. We had easy access to the dock, we went kayaking daily. Craig, the host, was amazing. He is very responsive to all our inquiries and gave us excellent advice regarding local information. The cabin was well stocked with more amenities then we expected. If you are looking for a home to enjoy Bass Lake, this is your home. You'll enjoy your time on the lake, as well as any time spent at house. We would stay here again in a heart beat!

Great House and Great Host

Overall: Great house, Great host, Great location. The details: The Host should update the pictures of this house; it's actually MUCH nicer in person! The kitchen and one bathroom have been recently redone (in 2021) and the furniture looks new and is not reflected in the photos at this time :). The place was SUPER clean, the beds were comfy and the lake was beautiful (even with being low!) The Good: Despite being fairly small, this house is laid out really well and was great for our party of 5 adults and two kids. We never felt crowded. Even sharing a room with our kiddos was fine, the upstairs bedrooms are big. The Deck is HUGE and in the summer is a real extension of the living space. You can tell the host uses this house themselves, it's totally stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and with a ton outdoor stuff too! Having use of the Kayaks was great fun. The lake is literally bath temperature and amazing to swim in. We were able to go into Yosemite twice while we were there and it was beautiful as always. What I wish I'd known: The house certainly is lake front as described, however, there is a road between the house and the lake. Similarly, there is a private dock, but renters aren't supposed to hang out on it, just on and off to park a boat (there is beach with plenty of area to sit out and it wasn't busy at all). Don't trust your GPS on finding the driveway, it's a bit tricky, but the neighbors are nice and helpful. The lake does get pretty busy with boats during the day, but they aren't supposed to come too close to the shore. Communication with Craig was super easy. If we come back to Bass Lake I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you Craig!

Charming Lakefront Cabin

Our family spent a wonderful week at the HOWARD’s cabin overlooking Bass Lake. Thewere great deck roomy enough for everyone to eat outside and open floor plan where everyone can spread out inside. Plenty of beds to sleep two families. Thoroughly enjoyed our week… Even though it was a touch warm. We look forward to another state!

Wonderful Family Cabin

The cabin is amazing! There is an easy path to get down to the lake and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. The cabin is super clean and comfortable and is stocked with everything you need to have a fabulous time at the lake. Craig is an amazing host! He checked in to make sure everything was up to our standards and was easy to reach when we had questions. I highly recommend this cabin for your family get away! Our family will definitely be back next year.

Very beautiful lakeside cabin

We rented this cabin for a family vacation. The cabin is beautiful, clean and has a huge deck with an amazing view of the lake. The kitchen is newly remodeled and stocked with almost anything you need. The boat slip is a community slip and in great shape. Craig had it set up perfectly for our boat, which was awesome to just pull into and dock with no worries. The forks and the pines lodge are close and fun to go to if you need supplies or some good food. There is great WiFi in the cabin, if you have teenagers this is a huge plus lol We had a nice time at a beautiful lake.

Excellent cabin (and host) with fabulous view on the lake

The cabin was very clean and well thought-out. The deck is so large, and has an excellent view right onto the lake, with access to a private dock nearby. The beds very plentiful and very comfortable, and the kayaks were an added plus that really made the trip for the kids. Craig, our host, could not have been more responsive both before and throughout our stay. You just can’t go wrong with this cabin or this host. Thank you Craig! We look forward to returning.

Perfect place for R & R & water fun!

This very nice & comfortable home with gorgeous lake views was the perfect setting for our family get-away w/ 3 adult children. When we weren't playing on the lake or taking a hike, we spent all our time on the very spacious patio deck overlooking the lake. The owners, Craig & Cindy, were easily reachable and genuinely want their guests to have a wonderful experience.

We chose Bass Lake for the lakes beauty, the variety of activities such as boating, nearby entertainment, shopping and dining. Our specific cabin is in a small enclave of 8 cabins named Angel Springs that overlook the lake. The springs were used by the Mono tribe over 200 years ago and grinding holes can still be found.The view, privacy, and beauty is unmatched at Bass Lake

What makes this property unique

The finest view at Bass Lake (I'm not exaggerating) on large deck coupled with and excellent boat dock and beach area. You will find the cabin is fully stocked with all conveniences and maintained like a home, not a rental The location between the lake and the Sierra National Forest gives you maximum privacy in a forest setting - yet close to everything. The upstairs has two huge bedrooms and one full bath, the downstairs a bedroom, full bath, family room, kitchen and laundry room.
