Feitshans House is a stunning example of a 2-story, high-style Gothic Revival Victorian. Built in 1879 and tastefully restored in 2000, the house still retains many of its original, period-specific features, making it the perfect stay for anyone wanting to experience a piece of history.

This older home has been beautifully upgraded and was meticulously clean. Even the mattress was comfortable. The home is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood within walking distance to much of downtown Springfield sites. The host was easy contact and responsive to our questions. We enjoyed our three-day and highly recommend this site.

Historic Springfield Anniversary Getaway

The Blue Room at the Feitshans House was beautiful, elegant and very accomodating for our weekend stay in Springfield. It is centrally located to all the downtown historic activities and eateries are just a short drive in all directions. The home is tastefully decorated and has all the amenities one needs for a short or long term stay. We enjoyed the historical books and antiques throughout the home. It was easy to get in and out and parking is more than adequate. We had a wonderful stay in the Blue Room.
