“The Lookout Lodge” Lake Sutherland house with private hot tub

The Lookout Lodge is perched above idyllic Lake Sutherland. Your family and friends will love the huge private and secluded deck. Enjoy morning coffee viewing the misty mountains, evening BBQs with huge outdoor dining table and nights around the fire table under the string lights. The new 7 person HotSprings hot tub has picturesque views of the lake. Feel free to use the 2 kayaks and cornhole games in our storage building. Walk down to the community dock and lawn for a picnic lunch and swim! If you want to bring your boat we can give you access to the boat launch.

Our clean, updated cabin has a full kitchen (stocked with essentials and spices) with a large fridge and freezer with ice maker. Living room has a sectional couch with smart TV and electric fireplace for a cozy ambiance. Our indoor/outdoor stereo sound system allows for your Bluetooth music to play throughout the house and outside on the expansive deck. The house is on a private well with a high end water treatment filtration system, delivering clear and drinkable water. The house has ample parking and is on one level right next to the house (no stairs), making loading and unloading from house to car a breeze.

Perfectly located for exploring the Olympic National Park. Right off HWY 101. *There is some road noise outside*

You will have access to the whole house, yard and deck. The shop will be locked.

We loved staying at this quiet, secluded home overlooking a beautiful lake. The views were stunning and the huge deck on the back of the house overlooking the lake was a great place to hang out! The hosts were extremely responsive and very kind.

The Lookout Lodge was the perfect getaway! We were impressed with everything about our stay. We especially loved the hot tub, the cleanliness of the house, and the closeness to Olympic National Park. We would definitely stay again and we've already recommended this spot to family and friends!

Fabulous host and great spot to stay

The property is well kept and stocked with spices, condiments, and cooking utensils. This property is clean and a great location to relax with family. We would stay here again.

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin on Lake Sutherland! The hot tub and view from deck are amazing. We are more of the 'look at the lake' people vs. 'go on the lake' people so for us the location of the cabin being situated higher up was perfect for us. It's a 30 second drive down the road to the dock so we did that a few times to see the geese and snap some photos. I also really liked that there were no stairs to get from the car to the cabin which made loading our luggage very easy. Well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to supply a few folding luggage racks (or maybe they were in a closet somewhere and I just didn't see them). Overall I highly recommend and would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at The Lookout Lodge and would happily return. The view over Lake Sutherland is gorgeous, and with the lake only a short 3‑minute walk away, it was incredibly easy to enjoy the water. Inside, the kitchen was well equipped and spotless, with a layout that worked perfectly for our family. The lounge area was cosy and comfortable, and both bedrooms were a great size — our girls loved the double bunk, while the main bedroom’s super‑king bed felt especially luxurious.There is some road noise due to being close to the main road, but traffic was light and it never bothered us. Outside, the setup was fantastic: a large, clean BBQ ready to use, a lovely gas firepit for cooler evenings, and of course the hot tub, which was an absolute highlight of the trip.The location was excellent for exploring the Olympic National Park. Lake Crescent, Devils Punchbowl, Marymere Falls and the Spruce Railroad Trail were all within about 30 minutes and perfect for half‑day adventures. Sol Duc, Hurricane Ridge and Port Angeles were also easy to reach within an hour. We absolutely loved the area and would highly recommend it as a place to visit.Taria was extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Overall, a really positive experience and a place we’d definitely recommend.

Weekend in Olympic National Park

This lodging was the perfect home base location to access various areas of Olympic National Park, and not spend all of our time driving. It a great location! Very clean, quiet, private, comfortable, and a great view.

Lovely getaway close to Olympic

We loved it here! Immaculately clean, very comfortable and surprisingly spacious for our family of four. Exactly as advertised, plus little touches everywhere make this one of the best-appointed rentals we’ve stayed in. Hope to come back someday.

Perfect in every way

This is such a well-kept, comfortable cabin. Amazing views and a great location. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are super comfortable. If we get a chance to come back this way from Michigan, we would love to stay again.

Great for a quite getaway

Our group was a family of 6 adults, so we knew it would be a little snug and restroom coordination. We loved eating out on the deck for every meal. The location is quiet and easy to access. Check in and out was seamless. Would recommend!
