Tiny House in the Woods, sleeps 3, full bath, linens provided, keurig & k cups
Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this tiny house in the woods. We do live on site and you can see our home from the tiny house.
Our tiny house sleeps 3 with a queen bed in the loft and a twin down below. Fridge & freezer provided along with a kitchen sink, microwave & keurig with k cups. Relax & unwind semi off grid with no wifi (and sometimes little cell service) but enjoy a movie with the provided TV, DVD player and select movies available. Bring a board game or pick from the ones provided.
As pictured the "ladder" to the queen bed loft can be quite intimidating, but once you get the hang of it you are all set.
Full bathroom includes shower, towels and soaps provided. The tiny house has a tiny hot water heater of 5 gallons for a quick hot shower. A first aid kit and fire extinguisher can be found in the cabinet under the twin bed if needed. We do live on the property along with a friendly cat named Mittens and about 40 egg laying chickens.
We are 20-40 minutes to many beaches, close to Delaware turf and sports at the beach. Dog Fish Head Brewery and Delaware state fair are also a short drive away. We have a no pet policy and a strict no smoking on the property rule.

Was a cute little place. Very clean. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would add to this place is a lamp maybe a lamp next to the sofa and light in the loft.
Cute and clean with a nice layout. Sweetest host. The only recommendation my teenage daughter had was to add a curtain to the single bedroom doorway for darkness/privacy. 10/10 would stay again!
Wonderful quiet property with a fully equipped stay.
AC, Lighting, bug prevention, kitchen amenities, and linens were huge positives.
The water temp/controls were a tad confusing and variable, difficult to tell the cause.
Another comfort note would be the ladder rungs to the upper bed - they were extremely difficult and uncomfortable to use.
There isn't much room for a ladder, so the selected style is understandable, but for anyone looking for a quick and easy sleeping sleeping arrangement for couples/less nimble people -- this may not be the stay for you.
Unlikely to stay again as a couple, but enjoyed our stay nevertheless.
The house is adorable, with an interior that matched the exterior in style. The location is quiet and out of the way - but also close to some nice restaurants (the cured plate was fun) and quiet beaches (Slaughter, Broadkill). As described, the “ladder” to get to the loft was a bit of a challenge (we are senior citizens), but manageable. The only “dishes” were disposable cups so if you plan to eat cereal or prefer a mug for coffee, bring your own (or find a thrift store, as we did). The hosts were easy to reach and gave good instructions. We were curious to experience the tiny house and enjoyed our stay - but it did cure us of any fantasies about living in a tiny house full-time!
My son and I came up for the Sports on the Beach baseball tournament from Friday through Sunday and stayed at the Tiny House. Miss Steff was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed...kitchen...bathroom...shower...comfortable beds...and A/C. No Wifi but that was fine. Got some great reading in.
We absolutely loved staying here. We were able to unwind after the long days on the field. Having spotty service was actually a good thing for the three of us. We were unplugged from the world but plugged into each other. A weekend filled with laughs reading and relaxing. This tiny house was everything we wanted it to be and more. Stef was so accommodating, and truly enjoyed staying at their property - Plan to make this a annual DE tournament stay location for a while.
