Charming house in the beautiful Westfjörds of Iceland. HG-00013285

Located in Hnífsdalur just 5 km from Ísafjörður in the beautiful Westfjörds of Iceland. The area offers many attractions including hiking, fishing and exploring the natural beauty and unique scenery this area is famous for. We welcome you.
Our house is completely self service. We do not offer maid service. Linens and towels are provided as well as a well stocked kitchen. If you use our towels and linens you will need to wash them. Also guests must return the house clean and we kindly ask that you keep the house and surroundings tidy during your stay. All soaps and cleaning supplies are provided. The is a 7 kg washing machine and dryer on site.

Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The holiday home is very spacious and comfortably furnished. It is the ideal starting point for any excursion into the wild landscapes of the Icelandic Westfjords. The house was very clean, and communicating with Judi was a pleasure.

What a beautiful home!! It has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the westfjords. We really enjoyed having it as our home base and loved all the amenities available- full kitchen with appliances and plenty of dishes and utensils for cooking, pool table/game room, fire pit, spacious living area, GORGEOUS VIEWS, and comfortable beds. I stayed here with a group of 4 adults for 4 nights, and it was a great location just outside of Isafjordur for hiking, whale watching, and enjoying a local brewery. Would absolutely come back if given the opportunity!

The house is very large and easy to find. The couch and chairs are comfotable. The house was clean, the beds were fine.The contact with the host was accurate and on time. Due to cloudy and drizzle the environment wasn't very challinging for us. But with clear weather this would have been much better. I did like the one lane two direction tunnel just before Isafjördur.

The home was beautiful, clean, and a very convenient location for exploring the area. The host was responsive. Our only disappointment is that we could not stay the required three night minimum, so we did lose a night's payment, but that was something we knew ahead of time due to the policy. We would still choose this property again should we return to the area. It was really nice to spread out in such a lovely space. It was fantastic to have a washing machine, pool table, and comfortable living room furniture. There is a nice back yard with fire pit. The home is located in a quaint neighborhood and we found it to be very quiet, which was nice. We have stayed in VRBOs all over the world, and in terms of value, this beautiful space sits in the top ten. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at this home. It was cozy and convenient and had everything we needed. The hosts were also extremely responsive and helpful. Can’t imagine a better place to stay on the Westfjords.

Amazing house near Isafjordur

This house was spacious with all the necessary amenities. It even has toys and DVDs so it would be great for people with kids. Great location!

Our short vacation was fabulous. The house was super clean and we had a lot of space for three persons. The house had everything we could have asked for! The location of the house was perfect to get to Isafjordur and other points of interest in the area. We were able to see a lot of whales and a glimpse of northern lights!

Just like home with amazing area

A vacation home you immediately feel at home in: superbly equipped, comfortable and cosy interior, quiet and a perfect location for exploring the western fjords. The owners are very attentive and give great advice on activities and restaurants. I can't wait to go back for longer!

A wonderful home base for exploring the Weatfjords

This is a lovely home—comfortable and spotlessly clean—in a beautiful location. It is in the perfect location for exploring the Westfjords. You can enjoy exploring the immediate vicinity or visit the bird cliffs of Látrabjarg for a day trip. Rikki and Judi are helpful and responsive hosts. We would definitely stay there again.
