If your looking for a quiet, peaceful vacation at a reasonable price, this is it! Welcome to The Bear's Den, at William's Creek Retreat, situated near the Big South Fork Park in a secluded, wooded setting.
The main level has a full bath, and a laundry room that has a full -size washer and dryer as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom is located on the main level and has a queen bed with direct access to the deck for morning coffee.
On the second level there is a full bath that is shared by two bedrooms, one has a queen bed and the other has bunk beds that have a full on bottom and a twin on top.
The wrap around deck has rocking chairs and furniture to enjoy the outdoors.
Horse stalls available at additional cost. $10.00 per day per horse.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Beautiful cabin, with the most comfortable furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and every room was very clean. Loved the big porches, and easy communication with the owner. Only a couple minor inconveniences, but nothing that would cut a multiple night trip short

Beautiful cabin

Cabin was beautiful would have love to be able to sit on the decks more. But couldn't vacationers down from blaring their karaoke machine till all day till at least 11:30 pm + couldn't sit out on deck because thats all you heard. Cabin was awesome need a new bed downstairs and smoke detectors needed plus more lighting in kitcken.

beautiful, clean and quiet

beautiful, clean and quiet. just a few little things like: front porch light did not work, ceiling fan light in 1st floor bedroom didn't work, ceiling fan and the light did not work on the queen bedroom on 2nd floor. There were lanterns sitting on the porch but none worked. Otherwise everything was great.

Getaway in Oneida

It was more remote than we thought but not too far out. The cabin was neat and clean. There were no blinds on the doors on the bottom floor and the lighting was adequate but the blinds upstairs are outdated and need replaced. Beds were comfy and clean. Two of the smoke alarms were missing but notified the property manager and that will be corrected. Overall really enjoyed the cabin.

Great place but hard to find!

Make sure you go to the details page to find out how to find this place. We were so confused because GPS took us to the beginning of the road and we were afraid we had been scammed! And of course we had no signal! So we had to drive back closer to town and scan the listing all over again and finally figured out where the place was. Thankful it did exist ha ha! Very clean and nice property! Our only complaint with the cabin is that you can hear EVERYTHING. If you are upstairs you can hear the people below and if you are downstairs you can hear the people above clearly. But beautiful place and has everything you need!

Peaceful cabin in the woods

We had a great stay. The property is well kept up, very clean, and in a beautiful, quiet location. It has a nice wrap around porch with plenty of seating. A few observations for others who may be considering it. The property is in a wooded area about ten minutes from town and the Big South Fork. It doesn't have a dining room table, but does have a countertop and stools between the kitchen and living room, and a table and chairs on the side porch.

Comfortable Cabin in Beautiful Area

Great location and cabin was comfortable. Could use a few more kitchen items and a bit more light (brighter) but overall great place , would stay here again. Good place to relax before & after the Yamacraw Race.

Beautiful home

The home is beautiful, the location is perfect. I would have given it 5 stars except for two things. The beds are worn out. The bed on the main floor has a deep divot on each side and is terribly uncomfortable. Secondly, it is very dark in the kitchen, so much so that it is difficult to prepare food and cook.

Wonderful Cabin in the woods!

We (myself, spouse, oldest son and his wife and 2 young kids) came to the area to be close to our youngest son and his family who were camping at Bandy Creek. (My youngest son was running in the No Business 100 mile race through the Big South Fork TN and KY -- and yes he got 5th place!). Our primary goals were to have the whole family together, and support our son running in the race. My group spent nights and mornings at the Bears Den and we all spent the day hours at Bandy Creek Campground so we could all hang out and 6 cousins could play full speed at the playground and riding bikes for miles and miles together at the campground. Great fun had by all. The local Walmart, Little Ceasars and many of your usual fast food restaurants were a short drive to town. We picked up what we needed for cooking and snacks, etc on the way in at Walmart. The cabin is welcoming from the moment you drive up. The decor was just perfect. It was very clean which I super appreciated. We all loved the whole deck, the chairs, rockers, and the incredible swing. Loved the upper level deck. With Rachels permission we invited 2 of our little grandkids at campground to overnight with us and the cousins put up a kids popup tent on the upper deck and had their own little private "campout" which was safe and super fun. The smaller 2 had to stay inside on the bunk beds which was just as fun! Never ran out of hot water. Had everything we needed. There were other cabins nearby but you are still secluded and private. Sweet little pond down the hill and the fish follow you around as you walk by. We had some TV but really, we were so busy we did not use it. Also, cell phones were sketchy at best, but I was able to find about 1/2 bar for texts in about 3 random spots on site, but if you are not patient or persistent you probably wont find those spots, or you could sign onto the wifi and communicate by emails, which worked perfectly well. I seldom find a bed I like anywhere but we had no problems with comfort in this retreat. Rachel was extremely responsive to any questions I had as we prepared for our trip. Really, I could just go on and on. This rating is a 5 all the way!!! And did I mention there are so many wonderful places to hike, bike, stroll, sit, or just get away. Thank You Bears Den for a great stay.

Great Getaway Cabin!

As soon as we pulled up to the cabin we knew it was going to be great. It is beautiful on the outside and so nice on the inside. Took my family with me for a wedding, my 2 sons and their fiances and their children. My husband and I stayed in the bedroom down stairs and my sons and their families stayed upstairs. This was a great getaway and in a nice location. We really enjoyed the porch and my 2 year old grandson loved the porch swing! Most of our time while we were there was spent on the wrap around porch enjoying the outdoors! Great fire pit across the street provided us time to sit and eat s'mores after a long day. Even though we only had a few days there we all enjoyed it. This cabin is beautiful inside and out, great decor plenty of seating and towels along with bedding. The couch and chairs in the living room are very comfortable and could easily be used as a sleeping , napping area as we used it for. Thank you so much for the lovely time and opportunity to stay at this lovely cabin in the woods. If we are ever in Oneida again we know where to stay.

Secluded beauty

We booked this cabin last minute for a quick getaway. It was absolutely perfect! There was zero cell service which I knew ahead of time and made the weekend that much better! We were able to enjoy the seclusion. The fire pit across the street was a great added bonus! So many places to hike and fish nearby. And grocery store approx 10 minutes into town. I look forward to coming back here soon again!
