The pictures doesn’t do justice to the place! It’s quite big, clean and got everything you need. We were working in Kamloops, and Doug’s place was the perfect place for us in our budget!

Simple and functional.

A nice little place to stay in Kamloops. Nothing fancy, but met the needs of my friends and I for a few days. Can be a tad loud upstairs at early morning hours, as well as road and train noise so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Other than that, we enjoyed our quick stay. aand clear and c in their communication.

About the host

Host profile image
I grew up in Richmond BC and the wife in Dalian China. We have been married for over 10 years and friends ask how come I am not over weight with all the delicious food she makes.
I still work doing home renovation and started being a host to make ends meet. We decided we did not want permanent renters at this time. This is our 1st place owned together the wife loves puttering in the garned that alway upgrsded and I fix everything with her help .

Why they chose this property

When we moved here in October 2022 since it was the largest and most reasonable place we could find and had room for a rental. There is a mountain/hill view out back and another out the front. It is a semi desert type of landscape just not flat. Also the South Thomson river is just minutes away and our dogs favorite play time. We are 14 km away from city center and this we prefer since it is very peaceful. Some days early morning deer walk along the east side frence if the dog doesn't scar them off.

What makes this property unique

Mountain views and 10,000 square feet of property, 800 sq ft in suite with shared laundry. Out of town, low traffic area and close to Hwy to Banff and to Jasper Hwys.
