This is the BEST getaway! The property is so calm and peaceful. The house is very well designed for gatherings. The Magnolia inspired decor made my eyes so happy! The bedding, towels, and toilet paper were high quality and well maintained. The kitchen was well-equipped and organized! We had everything we needed for meals. Thanks so much for hosting your amazing property!
Thank you so much for allow me to use your ranch for my daughter 8th birthday slumber party. She really enjoyed her self and LOVEDDDD your home . Also enjoyed the cows.
The whole place was beyond anything we could have hoped for. The house is gorgeous with lots of space for our family of 6. It’s quiet. Lots of wildlife to see. We will for sure be back. Every little decorative detail surpassed what we imagined. The owner was amazing too and we got to meet him, he stayed and let our city kids feed the cows. So sweet!

We loved hosting this family! Wonderful communication between us. We would love to host you all again and would recommend you to other hosts.
Turning onto the gravel drive that leads to the house, you know this place is definitely secluded. From the outside, the house is nice, but when you step inside, it's amazing. This place had more amenities than you could ever want or need. If you need to get away and relax, this is the place for you.
We had a wonderful visit at the Hidden Valley Ranch. The home is spacious and tastefully decorated with a rustic ranch theme while still maintaining an updated and stately style. We did not do a lot of cooking but I would be hard pressed to think of something missing that you would need for cooking. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessities. The owner even provides K-cups for coffee as well a creamer. There were also tea bags available. Generous amounts of paper products (TP and paper towels) were provided as well. Plenty of clean towels were provided for our use. You are not far from town but feel like you are miles and miles away. There is a beautiful view out the back door of the pasture. The cows come up that direction for hay so you see them multiple times a day. They will moo back at you if you try to talk to them. We also saw a little rabbit down by the pasture. Our visit was not for pleasure but due to the illness of a beloved relative. Coming back to this peaceful place was just what we needed to lift our spirits. I hope to come again in the future.
This was the perfect place for our group of ladies to get away and focus on God. The home and property were beautiful and exactly what we needed. It exceeded our expectations! Would highly recommend. Loved it so much!

Family Thanksgiving 🦃
Great get away with family for Thanksgiving. Cute property with great attention to detail. They thought of everything. Cordless chargers by each bed, flavorings for coffee and a darling smores kit. The kitchen is pretty well appointed with plenty of dishes, coffee cups and most everything needed to cook a feast for 10. The pictures online are legit. Definitely recommend.
Overall the home is nice and spacious! Getting to the home is a bit much. Extremely dark road at night with no street lights nor guardrails. Having to get out to put a code in every time to enter was a doozy as well! The gate stopped working on our last night there so we didn’t complete our stay as we were concerned about our safety. Other than that it was very nice.

The country setting leads to the peace and quiet. This is what draws most to stay with us. Street lights and guardrails are not typical for a secluded getaway like the ranch. The gate powered battery is solar charged. The ranch has a guest limit of 15 and car limit of 6. There were in excess of 50 people and 15 cars. The multiple open and closing of the gate likely lead to the gate stopping working. The next morning everything was working normally and no problems since.
About the host

Long time residence to this area of Texas, we have enjoyed raising our family with all the metroplex has to offer from hockey to Six Flags to farm life. We enjoy sharing our love of rural farming with those like ourselves, who need time to get away from our very busy lifestyle for a moment to return to the simplicity of enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise and the cattle graze.
Why they chose this property
Located on a tree lined road, this ranch is surrounded by other large acreage ranches making it a truly secluded experience. Arrive to the front red gate on a quiet country gravel road. A year round stream crosses underneath the road at the entrance and flows next to the private drive before disappearing into the woodland. Continuing down a private tree lined drive, you arrive at the modern ranch house.
What makes this property unique
Located within one mile of a major highway, this easy to access ranch quickly transports you to complete seclusion and yet has easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping. With only a few ranches as neighbors, no homes can be seen along the drive to the ranch entrance. Two streams converge along two sides of the property providing water to the towering red oaks, pecans and black walnut trees. The home is completely surrounded by woods with a view of the pasture seen from the front porch, dining room and living room through the four sliding glass doors. Most of the metroplex’s popular attractions can be reached easily from the I-35 access just one mile from the ranch entrance.
