We loved this property. The lay out is great and it was clean and comfortable. We found ourselves wishing we had a reason to stay longer.
Unit was amazingly clean and located within a mile from the Blackhawk Arena making it a hop, skip & a jump from our event. The open concept living area was a nice surprise and offered plenty of room to sit back and relax in between races. Comfy beds, nice hot shower and washer/dryer were a plus!

My son and I came from SoCal to Utah for a wedding. Our stay at this property was perfect. Super clean and cozy. Every accommodation you could need was provided. The host was so friendly and went above and beyond what I could would ever expect. If I ever find myself in Utah again, I will definitely book this property again.

Comfortable Home base for exploring National Parks
We stayed here as our base for visiting 2 of the Big 5 National Parks. It was a bit of a drive but a quiet, non commercial place to rest in the evenings. The beds are super comfortable! We had all we needed for meal prep. The crockpot came in handy to have dinner ready when we returned from a busy park day. Andrea was an excellent host with great communication and interest in helping any way we might need. The pictures are an accurate representation. Its a small town with friendly people. The one grocery store in town was excellent! Be aware that it is closed on Sunday.

Thanks Lei! It was a pleasure to have you here. So glad it worked out as a base for your adventures. Yes we love Barrett's! Nice little store with all the necessities but they do close at 7pm and on Sundays. Happy to hear the house worked out well for you. We'd love to have you back again any time!
When my parents lived in Richfield, Maple Grove was a favorite location of my Dad’s. All of his kids and many of his grandkids camped at Maple Grove but that would’ve been too difficult for my mom. So, my husband and I and Mom slept in this clean, spacious well-stocked rental. It was a short drive to the campground and so much more comfortable.
Thank you, Andrea for having this space and sharing it with us. It had everything we needed for our home away from home birthday celebration for my husband.
Two specific situations Andrea responded to really well to 1) the Internet was having some issues and wasn't connecting. After we troubleshot it, we determined the router needed to be reset. She responded within minutes and came right out to reset it. 2) In the original listing it stated that there was a hot tub. I brought it up to Andrea and she apologized for the mistake and accepted my feedback. She fixed the posting immediately.
Andrea was attentive, helpful, responsive and kind. Thank you for the wonderful stay where we could create some memories that will last a lifetime!

Cheryl was a great guest and communicated well. She let us know there was a problem with the wifi but we were able to fix it within a few minutes by resetting the router. She was very understanding and gracious. Sounds like she had a great weekend with her husband for his birthday. She cleaned up really well when they left, making sure she started the dishwasher. We'd be happy to host her again any time! Thanks Cheryl!
Welcome to our VRBO listing! I'm Andrea, and I'm excited to share the story of our home with you. I grew up here, first in Aurora and then Salina. My husband is also from the area and we love it here, it's a great place to live and also to visit. We've been fortunate to own this property for about two years now. It holds a special place in our hearts as it belonged to a dear family friend, Gus, who lived here for the past two decades.
Gus was a unique character with a passion for race cars, storing his in the large garage attached to the building. He also had a whimsical approach to yard care, evident in the hanging shoes on the fence and the charming odds and ends scattered around, like the handmade flag decoration on the porch and the little wagon near the tree in the front yard.
Since taking over, we've poured our hearts into renovating the entire house. From adding central air and heating to installing new flooring, paint, and appliances, we've aimed to create a comfortable retreat that honors Gus's legacy. Every piece of furniture has been carefully selected to ensure your stay is as cozy as it is memorable.
We're also dedicated to enhancing the grounds and yard, continuing Gus's spirit while improving the overall experience for our guests. It's a work in progress, but we know Gus would be proud of how far we've come.
We can't wait to welcome you to our updated and charming home. Whether you're here to relax, explore the area's attractions, or simply unwind, we're here to ensure your stay is nothing short of delightful. Feel free to reach out with any questions or special requests you may have. Let's make your visit to our home a memorable one!
Why they chose this property
This home is right off main street with a laundromat right next door. There are no immediate neighbors other than the one that shares the building. The location is just minutes from anything in Salina and only about 20 minutes from Richfield. There's a parking lot directly across the street, so no buildings block the sunsets looking West, they can be amazing. There's a pasture to the side of the house that often has horses grazing during warmer months.
What makes this property unique
There's ample parking here, with plenty of room for longer trailers to haul your toys, horses or work equipment. Easy access from I-70 or highway 89 make this the perfect resting space for long road trips. The house is all one level, making it perfect for elderly people and young children, no steps to navigate, and large 36" doorways. The open living room and kitchen make this the perfect place for families or work crews to rest and hang out during their stays here in Salina. The porch and yard provide additional space to relax and unwind during your stay.
