Imagine not being able to see any neighbors and stargazing the unobstructed sky while sitting on the deck or in the cabin. There is no traffic whatsoever because the road to the cabin goes no where else! The 4 acre pond is suitable for fishing. Enjoy the firepit and new gas grill. Take a hike. Plan a day trip to Branson, MO. Watch nature's majesty as it manifests itself during all seasons. There are several nearby rivers for floating or canoeing. You can eat at one of your favorite fast food restaurants if you must! Cabool has a Subway, DQ and Sonic. There are McDonalds in nearby towns, both about 15 miles! Cabool also has a Mexican Restaurant, Asian Diner, a grocery store and restaurant that Mennonites operate and cook for (even their hamburger buns are homemade!) and an old fashioned Cafe. Bring your family or just yourself to revive, rejuvenate and refresh your spirit. This is a perfect location to 'get away from it all’,explore, get back to nature, for storytelling and story making. No TV but there is a DVD player for movie watching.

Great location. The host has great communication. We appreciated the extra directions on arrival. We were also extremely grateful for a few snacks left there as everything was closed on Christmas when we went.
Beautiful property! Perfect place to unplug and unwind. Peaceful and serene.

Loved the peaceful stay. Gorgeous setting. No issues at all with our stay...wished that we could have stayed in the area longer to enjoy this property.
This was a fantastic property. The area is absolutely beautiful, with the pond just a few steps from the cabin. You can wake in the morning to the mist rising off the water, and relax at night looking up at a sky filled with stars! The cabin is clean and cozy. What we really appreciated was the little, thoughtful touches from the hosts; for instance there was fire starter, newspaper and cut firewood there for a campfire or for the pot-bellied stove inside. They have fishing poles and tackle boxes, life vests and lawn chairs, all available for guests to use. Clearly the hosts love this cabin and want their guests to love it too!
My husband and I had an amazing getaway weekend. Beautiful cabin and location!

Very nice cabin. Cute, clean. Our friends from the area came and we had a relaxing visit. Renters are amazing! Our son left something behind and they reached out to us and are mailing it! I can't say enough about how wonderful of an experience it has been!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful, cozy cabin. It’s tucked away on a secluded property with a private lake, complete with fishing poles and a row boat, which made for such relaxing days on the water. The cabin is pet-friendly, and there was so much space for hiking and exploring, our dogs loved every minute of it! The views were stunning, and the host was fantastic with great communication and thoughtful accommodations throughout our stay. Truly one of the best trips we’ve ever had and we can’t wait to come back
This place is beautiful. We had a blasted. Watching the sunset on the porch or at the fire pit was breathtaking. You have to go hiking or paddle around the lake. We are going back!
The cabin was just the right size for a quiet stay in nature. The lake was pristine. Kayaks were available as well as fishing poles and tackle. The dock was in good shape and it was fun to sit on it at different times of the day and evening. A firepit was available with wood. The cabin itself was cozy with everything needed to cook with. My dog thoroughly enjoyed swimming and running through the woods. The perimeter of the property made great hiking. There is also a big open, flat, grassy area to play on--we used it to play fetch.
This was the cabin of dreams for my best friend and I! It was the perfect weekend getaway! Sheila and David were super nice and helpful. We are already planning a trip in August!

Wow! Thank you, thank you thank you! The weather was horrible so I’m glad that you enjoyed it anyway.
The property was even more beautiful than expected! The host's were excellent and reponded quickly to our needs. We spent a lot of time on-site exploring the property, it did not disappoint!
The cabin is set beautifully overlooking the lake. It feels private and secluded. The communication with the owner was quick and easy. Great location to pivot from.
Absolutely gorgeous scenery you can even enjoy from inside. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Trails were well kept and easy to hike. We hope to be back again. Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience, very peaceful and scenic. Extremely clean for a cabin atmosphere. The lake is beautiful. We will be back!

The cabin is quaint and peaceful. The veiws are beautiful. Well stocked and very sufficient for our needs. Did a bit of fishing on the pond and caught some nice bass on the fly rod. We visited the area to drive the backroads and enjoy the fall colors.
